Kingdoms [A Jimina Story]

Chapter 2

Jimin stares at the traditional boat and sees a lady walking out in a traditional Myoui dress. Behind her are two short people, one man and another a woman. Lisa says, "Holy fuck, Mina is here. With Chaeyoung and Suga." Everyone looks at her and Jimin asks, "Who are they?" Lisa gathers everyone into a huddle and says, "She's the empress of the Myoui Dynasty. No one knows why she succeeded the throne in an early age and the Myoui's don't want anyone finding out why. Rumors says she's a genius and she killed every single person above her but I can't believe that."

Tzuyu then continues, "And the two by her side are the best samurais of the land. I don't know why they showed up and who invited them." They soon gather at the Park Manor and everyone sits in a meeting hall. On one side, there's Momo, her mom, and the rest of her crew. On another, Jihyo, Daniel, and their group of skilled generals, 6Mix. On our side, Tzuyu's mom and Jungkook's crew. Then across them, were Mina, Chaeyoung, and Suga.

Jihyo stands and says, "Thank you for coming to this historic meeting. We would like to touch up on a sensitive matter. Unity." Momo laughs out loud and says, "Seriously? You think we would unify with you?" Her mom calms her down and Jihyo says, "We would like to unify under a government. There will be four rulers, one from each empire and they will be the decision making body. Our affairs will still be separate but if help is needed, we must support. We need to unite before a civil war erupts and civilization would end."

Momo stands up furiously and says, "Unite? We just found some filthy pirates in our lands. How can we trust you?" Jungkook stands and yells back, "They were rogue! Which means no affiliated with us, if you didn't know." Momo looks at him offended and says, "Are you calling me stupid?" Jin from the Kingdom of Park yells, "We found some tribal hunters in our environmental preserves and we still fight for unity. We need to unify."

Mina raises her hand the room quiets down. She stands up and starts to walk away from the room. Jungkook yells at her, "Running away like always." She stops walking and turns around slowly glaring at him. He says, "It's fine, you can go. You can hide away like ninjas." Tzuyu covers his mouth as she slowly walks towards her side of the room. She sighs and gestures Chaeyoung to talk. Chaeyoung says, "Your plan of unity will soon fail. Just like every kingdom, tribe, or mere pirate, someone is bound to be hungry for power. Unifying into one will just make an easier target for a dictator to spring out. So go ahead, unite yourselves. See what happens then."

The room falls quiet and Chaeyoung says, "Alright meeting adjourned, we'll be going now." The three leave the room as Momo scoffs and says, "I hate those guys." Jungkook says, "Finally, something we agree on."

Jihyo rubs her eyebrows as this hasn't gone as planned, she says, "Unity is still a choice. If we stay separated, civil war will break out and at the end of the day only one ruler will survive. We should unify before any losses are made." Tzuyu says back, "If the Myoui Dynasty doesn't join, you won't get any of us to join. We don't know what they have in store, this one interaction today is the most we have ever seen them. I didn't even know they spoke our language."

Jimin observes all of this and it confuses him. Why does the Kingdom of Park want unity so bad? They could unite the world if they sent out their army as they have the most advanced weaponry and the biggest population. Maybe they're scared of the dark horse that is Myoui's dynasty.

The kingdoms separate and return home. No sign of major interaction has been made, not until the ace of the Chou nation encounters an unexpected enemy a few weeks later.

"Just another day of plundering and raiding" Jungkook thought. Lisa then screams, "Cargo ship, 9 o'clock." Jungkook steers the wheel and Bambam adjusts the sails. They charge the cargo ship at full speed. Jimin soon notices the emblem on the ship and yells, "STOP! IT'S A MYOUI SHIP!" But it was too late.
