Kingdoms [A Jimina Story]

Chapter 11

Jimin groans in pain as he wakes to the swaying of the boat. Jungkook enters the room with water and a plate of food. He tries to get up but notices his left arm is tied to the side of the bed. Jungkook says, "I'll take off the restrains after I tell you about your mother."

Jimin looks around frantically and says, "You left her? HOW COULD YOU!" Jungkook sighs and says, "The story goes back to the first time we met." Jimin wants to talk back but becomes curious on what he's babbling about, so he listens.

Jungkook says, "When we first met, I wondered where you came from and why we found you at the edge of our borders. Before my dad retired he told me a story, a story about a runaway family. He emphasized that your mother didn't want us to spread the word and that you should never know because she wants you to live a peaceful life without worry."

He sips from his drink then continues, "So I asked my father, 'Who are they?' He chuckled and said, 'It's complicated, so you better sit down son.' So I sat down and he handed me a drink. It was the best drink I have ever drank, I asked for the recipe and he gave it to me. That's the drink I am drinking right now, it takes a while to prepare and is pretty expe-"

Jimin interrupts, "Jungkook, you're sidetracking." The young captain giggles and says, "Oh where was I? Ahhh, I asked for your identity and why we had to take you in. See the first time I met you, I was annoyed by you and attempted to ditch you but fortunately it never worked out and you never noticed."

Jimin glares at him and he says, "Your parents are related to the royal family of the Kingdom of Park. Jihyo is your first cousin because your dad is her dad's brother. They planned to unify the world long time ago and the first step was to marry you to the Myoui Family's heir."

Jimin questions, "Mina?" Jungkook nods and says, "But her parents had a different plan, they were going to unify the world in a different way. They planned to create a covert ninja force which would be trained to take down nations within days. They wanted to take over the world. Your father found out and planned to tell the Park's but he was stopped. Mina's parents caught him and they were going to imprison him and his family.

So your father panicked, he killed both of them out of self-defense. Before her knew it, blood was shed and he caused it. The top shinobi, Agust, found out a few hours later and tracked your dad down. But, plans to runaway were already set. Your parents were to meet with my father on the border and we would protect you but your father couldn't leave the newborn Chaeyoung."

Jimin asks, "Chaeyoung? As in Mina's right hand woman Chaeyoung?" Jungkook shakes his head and says, "Your sister. Park Chaeyoung. She was in the nursery as she was just born, so your father ran to get her. He knew he was risking his life and that he could have lived if he went with you and your mother but he couldn't leave his beloved daughter. A few weeks after we took you in, we found no signs of your father and your sister. We assumed that they were killed and your mother wanted us to keep it a secret from you."

Jimin takes all the information in and lies down on the bed. He says, "My father, who I thought passed away on a mission in the seas, killed Mina's parents." Jungkook looks at him with sad eyes and says, "He had too, he couldn't bare losing his loved ones." Jimin yells back, "So he took away Mina's loved ones?" Jungkook raises his voice, "Jimin, they were going to use you and kill innocent people. If he hadn't done what he did, we would be at war today."

Jimin groans and says, "What do we do now? I have evidence that could start a war but I'm not sure it's the right move." Jungkook sighs and says, "I saw, the ones that attacked the royals of the Momo Tribe and Chou Nation were from the Kingdom of Park." Jungkook unties the rope and says, "We'll be meeting with Tzuyu and Momo tomorrow. What will you do?"

Jimin springs up and says, "How far are we from Gichu?" Jungkook looks at his map and compass then says, "A few hours away, why?"

A few hours later, they docked in the port of Gichu, the capital city of the Kingdom of Park. Jimin meets with Jihyo personally and asks Jungkook to stay on the ship. As he enters the throne room, Jihyo greets, "Welcome Jimin, it feels great to reunite with family once in a while. How are you?"

Lia notices the greeting and runs out to greet Jimin, she bows and says, "Hello! Good meeting you again!" Jimin chuckles and says, "You're looking healthy, I need to speak with your mother so can you please leave us?" Lia leaves after giving a quick hug to her uncle and he says, "Why didn't you tell me, we were related?"

Jihyo shrugs her shoulder and says, "I never knew you were aunt Yubin's son. Not until I saw that tattoo." She flashes her tattoo on her shoulder which has the same emblem and says, "Your part of the Park family, you're royalty. But, your dad committed serious crimes, don't worry we'll protect you." Jimin scoffs and says, "But who's going to protect you?"

Jihyo raises and eyebrow and he shows the documents given by Sana. She chuckles and says, "That sneaky bitch." Jimin asks confused, "Huh?" She throws the papers on the ground and says, "She planted this. Min Yoongi is Suga's real name. Mina wants the other two to attack me." Jimin asks, "So you didn't kill the Chief and the Queen?" Jihyo shakes her head and says, "Why would I? I've been working so hard to continue my parent's work of unity."

She then looks at him and says, "Where's your mother?" Jimin looks at the ground and she realizes what happens. Jihyo comes down and hugs him then says, "Help me make peace with the Momo Tribe and Chou Nation. We'll save your mother after we ensure our safety."
