Kingdoms [A Jimina Story]

Chapter 13

Jihyo calls an emergency meeting. Jihyo, Daniel, the 6Mix, Momo, Momo's squad, Jungkook, and Jungkook's crew meet up. It's a war meeting. Jihyo says, "The plan is simple. We take over the Myoui Dynasty and replace their leadership." Jungkook asks, "Who's the candidate for the leadership?"

Jihyo says, "I insisted for Daniel to takeover but Jimin had a better idea." Jimin stands and says, "I'll be the leader but only temporarily. Once Rose is ready to takeover, she'll inherit the throne. She's legally Mina's sister so the people won't be too displeased."

Jihyo then turns to Momo and says, "We're sending troops to help your forces. You are the nearest to their lands so you will be their first target." Hoseok grins and says, "Don't worry. We have a secret weapon." Everyone glances at them and Momo yells, "ELEPHANTS!" Hoseok looks at her and scolds her, "It's called a secret weapon for a reason! But yes, we do have elephants."

Tzuyu asks, "What are elephants?" Namjoon from the 6Mix says, "I studied about them. They're behemoths, thick skinned, ivory horns, and a long trunk." Bambam chuckles and mutters, "Long trunks. hehehehe." Lisa hits his arm because he's embarrassing them. Momo stands proudly and says, "We have the advantage, they'll never break through our forces."

Jihyo then adjourns the meeting and everyone prepares for war. Rose becomes fidgety and says, "I can't believe Mina took it this far. She's too hungry for revenge." Jimin puts a hand on his sister's shoulder and says, "Don't worry. Once it's over, she'll be free of her responsibilities and we'll help her heal."

The war goes on but the battles are minor. Small skirmishes arise but the Myoui Dynasty doesn't make any major moves. Their lands are surrounded by a blockade of ships and a wall of the Momo Tribe's army. The Kingdom of Park supports the forces with weapons and supplies. The leaders meet in their monthly meeting to report all the incidents.

Tzuyu says, "Where's Momo?" Jihyo looks around and says, "She probably woke up late again, we'll wait for her." After an hour passes the two grow suspicious, Jihyo calls in Jeongyeon and asks, "Was there any difficulties at the border?" She says, "We're still waiting on a report from Momo." Jihyo thinks for a bit and says, "Send Namjoon and Jin to the border. I have a bad feeling about this."

Namjoon and Jin travel to the Momo Tribe soldiers quickly as Jihyo's suspicions prove to be true. They brought only a small force of 30 people and the sight before them is brutal. They see Momo struggling with Hoseok as they run from the battlefield and approach them. Jin tries to help them but Hoseok yells, "DON'T TOUCH HER!" Jin brings his hand back as Hoseok says, "Cover yourselves, they did something."

Namjoon asks, "What are the details?" As they put the unconscious Momo in a wagon, Hoseok explains, "We saw a force of about 100 but they stood behind the border. They bombarded us with arrows and just left. We thought we were victorious but the next day everyone grew sick. Our elephants died overnight while our soldiers kept dying of an unknown sickness. It's contagious but only on contact so take safety precautions because it's lethal."

They bring Momo inside castle walls as the doctors tend to her. Jin asks, "Are you the only survivors?" Hoseok keeps his head down and says, "After our forces took a blow from the disease, they killed them all." He asks, "Who?" Hoseok starts tearing up and says, "Suga, Chaeyoung, and Mina. They're monsters. They took down my men, my crew, and almost killed my Momo. What are we going to do?"

After they bring Momo to a safe room, everyone stays quiet waiting for a response from the rest of the generals. Nayeon walks in the room with Jeongyeon and says, "It was Sana." They give their attention to her and she continues, "Mina convinced Sana to create this biological weapon. But don't worry, Jaebeom and his team are working to get Sana out of their lands so she can make a cure."

Meanwhile in the dining room of Jihyo's castle

The door opens wide revealing Suga and Chaeyoung. Jihyo and Jimin stand up defensively as Suga greets, "Greetings Park family, ohh. Who's this young woman?" Jihyo hides Lia behind her and says, "The audacity of you ninjas. You break into our capital building during this war? You think you're getting out alive?"

Suga giggles as Chaeyoung extends her hand showing an olive branch. She says, "We're not here to fight. We came to pick up Rosie." Rose looks at the two while Jimin hides her behind his back. Suga walks closely and says, "Hand her over Jimin. She's coming home." Jimin says, "She doesn't want to go back. Not after what you did."

Chaeyoung sighs and says, "Can you shut up? We're talking to Rosie." Rose steps out and says, "I'm staying." Suga looks at her and squints his eyes while saying, "Are you sure Rosie? Mina is worried about you." Rose stands her grounds and says, "We're going to stop her and I'm staying on this side. So give up and go home!"

Suga chuckles and says, "It's your choice Rosie. Mina will be disappointed and we really tried our best to save you. So don't come crawling back, cuz we won't accept you. Oh and as for Jihyo." He starts walking towards her and Jihyo warns him, "Step back Yoongi." He gets shocked at the use of his real name and says, "I'm not going to hurt you but as for..." He yanks Lia away from Jihyo and the little girl squeals.

He puts his hand under her chin and raises her head so they make eye contact. Suga says, "Bummer, you didn't get your mother's beautiful eyes but when you grow older maybe you can have her brea-" A sudden kick launches Suga away, as Daniel retrieves his daughter. Suga stands up in pain and says, "Nice to see you again, Daniel." He glares at the shorter man and says, "Stay away from my family." Suga looks at Jihyo and replies, "Your standards for men really dropped after I left."

Chaeyoung grabs Suga's arm and says, "Let's go. Rose picked her side, we can't do anything about it." And like that the two ninjas disappear. Daniel calls the 6Mix and scolds them, "HOW DID THOSE TWO GET INSIDE THE WALLS! THEY ALMOST HURT JIHYO AND LIA!" Jimin whispers in the back, "And me." They bow and said, "We don't know! We sent hundreds of soldiers to patrol these walls and there are no traces of them entering or exiting."

Jimin's eyes widened and says, "There's another way in." Everyone looks at him and Daniel asks, "What?" He says, "When we kidnapped Lia, Mina showed me another way inside your walls. They must've been using them this whole time."
