Kingdoms [A Jimina Story]

Chapter 6

Mina groans as she tries to sleep but the sound of Lia sobbing is keeping her up. She kicks the door down and glares at the girl. Lia continues to cry as Mina says, "I would kill you but you're our evidence." Lia stops crying but continues to hiccup as she asks, "Evidence?"

Mina says plainly, "You weren't supposed to be born. You're a mistake, that's why they hid you from the world. If you don't shut up, you'll end up like me, an orphan." Jimin knocks on the door and enters the room. He greets Mina then places a tray of food on a table for Lia. He then unties her and asks Mina, "I made extra food, want to come and eat with me?"

Mina stretches and says, "I would love to, but I'm tired and I need sleep." She then leaves grumpily and Jimin closes the door. He walks up to Lia and hands her some cream. He says, "Put this on the red marks from the rope, it'll stop the itching." Lia takes it and says, "Thanks."

Jimin then looks at her as she eats and says, "You aren't a mistake. Just a product of love, remember that." Lia looks at him shocked and he leaves her. He sighs in frustration as he has to deal with Mina's personality. Jimin doesn't know if he hates her or loves her. His mind spins as he finishes the two bowls of ramen alone.

They arrive back to the Chou Nation capital, Gucci. As they make their way towards the main palace, Jimin is in charge of watching Lia. They meet up with Tzuyu and she asks, "Who's this?" Mina says, "We'll explain later but I need you to prepare for a meeting with Jihyo and Daniel."

Tzuyu nods in compliance and Mina says, "Jimin, can we talk privately?" He hands Lia over to Bambam and follows her to a quiet room. Jimin asks, "Yes?" She says, "I have a special mission for you." He raises an eyebrow and she continues, "Jihyo is on her way here and I need you to sneak on her ship before she lands and kill her."

Jimin's eyes widened at the crazy request and says, "Why me? Chaeyoung and Suga are more skilled." She says, "They know Chaeyoung and Suga but they don't know you. I never found out about you and I know everyone so what are the chances they know your name?"

He complies and sets off on his personal mission.

A few hours later

In a small canoe, he waits in the shadow of the night for Jihyo's ship. As a bright light and a massive ship appears, he sneaks onto it. Mina gave him an outline of the boat and gave clear directions to wear Jihyo will be. He notices Jihyo walk in the room and slowly approaches her.

He kicks down the door, not knowing that Daniel was also in the room. He quickly strikes Jihyo but Daniel knocked her out of the way and quickly cuts Jimin's arm. He kicks Daniel in the head and backs off. Jimin tears his shirt and wraps it around his wounded arm.

Groaning, Jimin stood back up and goes for Jihyo's head. Daniel quickly blocks the attack and the two engage in an intense close combat. He lands a few blows on Daniel but is also hurt from small cuts. However, Jihyo notices the tattoo on Jimin's stomach and yells, "Daniel, stop!"

Her advisor stops and so does Jimin. She asks, "Where did you get that tattoo?" Jimin looks at his abs then back at her and says, "My mom gave it to me. It's who I am." He mutters the words his mother told him as she engraved the family emblem on his stomach. Jihyo stands up and points at him while asking, "What is your name?"

Jimin laughs and says, "Why would I tell you that?" She says, "Park Yubin. Park Jiyong." Jimin looks at her shocked and yells, "Where did you learn those name?" She continues, "We found them. Daniel, it's him." Daniel realizes who Jihyo was talking about and points his sword at his face and says, "I need you to come with us."

Jimin hears the guards running down the hall and jumps through the window of the room. He swims towards his canoe and paddles back into shore. His smaller and more versatile boat is quicker than the huge galleon of the Kingdom of Park so he beats them to the island. He quickly runs back to his room to bandage up but is alarmed as he notices his lamps are lit.

He slowly opens the door to see Mina frantically walking around. She notices him and says, "How did it go? Are you ok?" Jimin is shocked to see her here and says, "It's late, you should be sleeping." Mina fiddles her fingers and notices the blood on his arm. She quickly brings him to his bed and pulls out the bandages and ointment for his cuts.

Jimin self consciously puts on a shirt relieved that Mina only noticed the cut on his arm and not his half torn shirt. He looks at her as she cleans his wounds. Her eyes scream guilt and sorrow. After wrapping his arm in bandages, she says apologetically, "I'm sorry. I was asking for too much. I should've sent one of my men or Tzuyu's men."

He smiles and says, "It's ok really. I'm used to this." Mina looks at his cuts and bruises and says, "No it's not ok. I felt so guilty and worried. I sent you there without even thinking about you dying. I'm sorry." Jimin pats her head and says, "Go to sleep, you have an important meeting tomorrow." She swats his hand and says, "I'm not your dog. Good night."

He smirks at the feeling of pride as the Empress of the Myoui Dynasty is worried about his well being.

The next day is the big day, the meeting with Jihyo. The queen of the Kingdom of Park enters the meeting room with all eyes on her and Daniel. Their guards exit the room, leaving only Tzuyu, Mina, Chaeyoung, Suga, Jungkook's crew, Daniel, and Jihyo. Tzuyu says, "End your relations with the Momo Tribe and we will return your daughter."

Jihyo smirks and quickly notices Jimin the room. She says, "No."

{I just finished the book today. After this chapter, I will be uploading one chapter everyday just so I can keep the suspense and it'll me a better experience, in my opinion.
