Kingdoms [A Jimina Story]

Chapter 8

Momo says, "It's a hypothesis. I want to investigate further but don't bring too many people into it." Hoseok says, "Momo and Tzuyu can't participate in the investigation as it'll be suspicious and dangerous." Momo says, "I was thinking, Captain Jungkook should lead the investigation and form a small team of your own. We'll give our most skilled warriors if needed."

Jungkook says, "Where's your base of this claim? We don't have any solid evidence that the Parks orchestrated the attacks." Momo says, "We have evidence but currently, it's in a place where no one can get into." Tzuyu asks, "Where?"

Momo says, "Sana. I gave her a vile we found at the crime scene. She has the technique to find fingerprints on it and all the nations have this big library of their soldier's database and full names. But she moved in with Mina a few weeks ago, so we can't contact her anymore."

Tzuyu groans in annoyance. Jungkook says, "We might have someone who can get into Myoui territory." Momo and Hoseok look at him and he says, "Mina, invited Jimin to live with them. Do you think she'll still accept him?"

Momo says, "It's worth a try."

Tzuyu goes back to Gucci and talks with Jimin personally. As she explains the plan and what he has to do, he nods his head. Jimin is willing to help no matter what and if it means that he has to go to one of the most mysterious and possibly  most dangerous place ever, then he'll do it.

Tzuyu says, "We sent a letter a few days ago so we should get a reply soon." A few minutes later, a letter was delivered personally by one of Mina's closest guards. Jimin boards the ship with his mother and greets the guard, "I'm Jimin and this is my mom Park-" His mother interrupts, "Sumni. I'm Park Sumni." The guy smiles and says, "I'm Taehyung. Pleasure to meet you."

After a few hours of sailing, they arrive to the docks of the Myoui Dynasty. Taehyung says, "My queen wants to meet with Jimin. Mrs. Park, please follow the maid to your quarters." Jimin bids a temporary farewell to his mother as Taehyung leads him to the palace garden.

Taehyung leads him to a small patio with a chair a cups of tea. He says, "Please wait here while my queen finishes her training." Taehyung then leaves Jimin as he takes the cup of coffee and walks around. He notices panting a few groaning so he makes his way towards the sound. He notices the sweat covered Mina sparring with Chaeyoung and Suga.

She has a few bruises and so does the other two. He says out loud, "Hello!" Mina turns her head with a smile but then is struck to the head with a wooden sword. Chaeyoung says, "Only stare at me, we're still sparring." Mina rubs her head as she continues her training session.

Several minutes later, she cools down and meets with Jimin. She asks, "So what changed your mind?" Jimin shrugs his shoulders, "Boring life and my mother is getting old. I needed safety." Mina smiles and says, "Well, I'm glad you're here. Let's have dinner together." Chaeyoung says, "But Mina, I thought we were having dinner."

Mina looks at her and says, "I have to greet the guests, maybe later." Chaeyoung pouts and as she walks by Jimin, she kicks his shin quickly. Suga says, "Sorry, she gets jealous easily." Chaeyoung then yells, "YAH! MIN YOONGI! ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE ME TOO?" Suga then flinches at the mention of his former name  then continues to follow her.

As Mina walks with Jimin along the garden, she says, "You'll be staying in the royal housing for now. You better be careful, you live next to Sana." Jimin raises an eyebrow and acts according to the script, "Sana is here?" Mina chuckles and says, "Yeah, she wanted to gather some ingredients and animals for her potion making. She'll only be here for a month or two so you'll be fine later."

Jimin sighs in relief and says, "Thank God, I would hate waking up to a venomous snake." Mina giggles and says, "I have to clean up. See you at dinner?" Jimin nods as she walks away but she yells before losing sight of him, "OH, bring your mother! I want to meet her!"

Later that night

Jimin approaches the dinner table with his mother. There are 4 seats prepared with Mina occupying one. He sits by his mother and across Mina. Mina stands and bows to her mother saying, "Hello, I believe this is the first time we met." His mother chuckles shyly then bows back saying, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Jimin then asks, "Is Chaeyoung or Suga going to join us?" Mina looks at the empty chair then says, "Oh no, that's for my sister." He asks, "I never knew you had a sister." Mina notices someone walk in and says, "Speak of the devil. What took you so long, Rose?" The girl smiles brightly and says, "I just finished my school work."

{Let's say Rose is younger than Mina.}

Jimin's mother tenses up at the sight of the girl and thinks to herself, "She looks like Jiyong." Rose bows to the guest and says, "Hello, I'm Roseanne!" Mina notices his mother's sudden reaction and raises an eyebrow. As they sit down and eat, Mina and Jimin talk about various experiences they had in the short amount of time they met. Rose giggled and laughed along while Jimin's mother stared at the youngest girl.

As dinner went by, Mina says, "Rosie, do you mind guiding them back to their room?" Rose smiles and says, "No not at all, let's go." She guides the two guests back to their room while Mina calls Taehyung over. She whispers to him, "Watch over his mother and report to me what you find. This order stays between you and me." He nods and moves silently.

While Jimin's mother, Rose, and Jimin walk to their room, Jimin asks, "I never knew Mina had a little sister. I didn't see you when I arrived earlier." She chuckles and says, "I was busy studying. She wants me to focus on school and enjoy life while I'm still young." He then eyes her face and says, "You guys don't look similar at all. I wonder if get it from your mom or dad."

Rose keeps her smile and says, "Me too but aunt Hyuna said I look like my dad. I don't know if it's a compliment or not." Jimin notices the change in her mood and says, "What do you mean 'me too'?" She fakes a smile and says, "Oh it's nothing. Enjoy your stay, if you need anything I'm a few rooms that way." He looks at where she's pointing them thanks her.

His mother pulls him inside and says, "Jimin, I have to tell you something." Jimin notices the serious tone of his mother and he holds her hand and says, "Yes?" She notices a sudden movement in the corner of her eye and turns paranoid. His mother then says, "I can't say it now but I'll let you know as soon as possible."

He smiles sincerely and embraces her in a hug while saying, "I forgot to thank you. Thanks for helping out and joining me in the mission. Mina will be suspicious if I moved in without you." She pats his back nervously and says, "Anything for my son."
