Kingdoms [A Jimina Story]

Chapter 17

Jimin runs through the halls with Mina on his back. Chaeyoung and Yoongi notice quickly and pace behind him. Yoongi asks, "What happened?" Jimin says panting, "I-I don't know. She just fainted." Chaeyoung spots Taehyung walking in the hall and yells, "Oppa! Is Sana in her clinic?" Taehyung nods then changes his mood quickly as he notices the passed out Mina.

He guides them into Sana's clinic where she runs some tests on the unconscious Mina. Jimin walks around frantically while Chaeyoung and Yoongi stay quiet. Taehyung walks out the room and says, "It's not good." The three enter the room and Sana looks frustrated. This is the first time they have ever seen her frowning. She sighs in frustration then looks at the others.

Sana says, "Mina has been suffering from malnutrition. She's been locked underground for years and her body isn't receiving the nutrients it needs to function. I don't know what they feed the prisoners but it isn't enough. Blood circulation was also cut because of the tight shackles on her ankles and neck. She's been suffering of a cold for what it seems to be months now. Good news is she's a strong woman so she should be able to survive if I inject the nutrients directly into her blood stream."

Jimin asks, "What's the bad news?" Sana looks at him angrily and says, "I don't know when she'll wake up and I don't know if any of this affects her brain. I don't know why you care and I don't know anything!" Chaeyoung stays quiet then says in a commanding and firm voice, "Get out." Jimin looks at her confused and says, "What?" She starts to tear up and choke on her words when she says, "This is your fault. Get out before I do something I'll regret." Jimin turns angry at her words.

He says, "What? Don't act like your the only one worried! I almost had a heart attack when I saw Mina like this." Chaeyoung starts hitting his arm and crying out, "GET OUT! MINA WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN LIKE THIS IF YOU DIDN'T PUT HER IN THERE!" Yoongi holds her back and as she is held in Sana's arms, Yoongi escorts Jimin out.

Yoongi says, "I'm sorry about Chaeyoung. She's just really worried about Mina and sometimes her emotions cloud her judgement." Jimin stares at the ground emotionless and says, "Is it my fault?" Yoongi reassures him, "No, don't blame yourself. You need to be strong and find her brother. I gathered a few pieces of information which could give you a broad search area. Don't bring too many people into this, we have to stay hidden."

Jimin nods and glances at the unconscious Mina before he sets off in his adventure. He couldn't do it alone so he had to ask his trusted friend, Jungkook to help him out. They were to travel in the outskirts of the Momo Tribe because of sightings of an unknown soldier traveling the lands. He was said to use Myoui Dynasty weapons for his hunt. Although it isn't confirmed, this is the only lead they had. Jimin must find Kai.

As the two ride their horses in the middle of nowhere, Jungkook asks, "So who are we looking for?" Jimin lies, "A criminal. He goes by the name Kai and is said to be a skilled fighter. He's been on the run for a while and I wanted to catch him." Jungkook nods his head and says, "So how's it been. You know, living the life of a royal." The shorter looks back at him and groans, "It's tiring. I would love to go back to exploring the seas and plundering riches."

Jungkook chuckles and says, "Wait, what's that?" Jimin turns his head and notices a woman on the ground. She calls out, "Help... Someone help..." The two get off their horses and approach the woman in need. Jimin says, "What happened? Are you-" The woman suddenly springs up and injects Jimin with a serum causing him to pass out instantly. Another woman holds a sword near Jungkook's neck and says, "You're coming with us."

Jimin wakes up to a massive headache, it's as if he drank gallons of beer the night before. He groans and tries to stretch his arms but notice he's restrained. He darts his eyes around and notices he's in a small hut. There are two women eating food and he notices Jungkook on a post parallel of his. The taller woman turns and smiles. She's beautiful. She says, "Jieun, this one is awake." Jieun turns to him and says, "Ahh, your highness. I bet they'll pay a lot for you and as for the captain, that should be an easy grand or so."

Suddenly, two tall and handsome men walk in the hut. Jieun squeals, "You're back! Look who we got." The taller man glances at the two and smiles. He's handsome. He says, "Wow! Good job, these two are worth tons." The other guy looks at the two and says, "You're Park Jimin. And you're Captain Jungkook. Welcome to 2nd Gen HQ."

Jimin speaks up despite of his headache and asks, "2nd Gen?" The taller guy smiles and says, "I'm glad you asked. It all started on the day I was born-" The other girl complains, "Ahhh! Sehun not this again!" Sehun glares at her and says, "We don't have many visitors and I worked so hard on this story. So please stay quiet." The girl sticks out her tongue then says, "Ohhh! We haven't introduced ourselves. I'm Suzy. The other girl is Jieun. The tall annoying one is Sehun and our secret weapon over there is Jongin."

Jimin looks away and noticed that Jungkook wasn't tied up. He raises an eyebrow because it confuses him why he doesn't fight back, maybe they're just too strong. As the 4 catch up in another room, Jimin whispers, "Psst. Jungkook, why didn't they tie you up. Hurry up and free me!" Jungkook looks at him dazed and says, "I can't!" Jimin complains, "What do you mean you can't?"

Jungkook blushes and says, "I think Jieun likes me." Jimin holds himself back trying not to laugh and says, "Jungkook, stop being greedy. You have several women waiting for you at home. There's Tzuyu, Lisa, and Taehyung." He looks back and says, "She's different. She's not human but some kind of goddess." Jimin sighs in disappointment as he realizes that he may never get out of here and if he does, he won't be bringing Jungkook.

The 4 return and stand in front of Jimin. Sehun says, "So why is the royal Park Jimin and Captain Jungkook exploring the outskirts of Momo Tribe territory?" Jimin clears his throat and says, "We're looking for someone." Jongin raises an eyebrow and Jimin looks up thens says, "We're looking for Kai of the Myoui Clan. Everyone in the room tenses up and Jongin says, "Kill them."
