It was a hazy Sunday morning and Jackson had left so early that when Jinyoung went to his room to call him for breakfast, he found no one there. So he was alone at the breakfast table and had to satisfy himself with the bread and butter and a coffee.

When he was doing the dishes, the doorbell rang. He cleaned his hands and rushed to the door. He had no idea of who it could be because they barely had visitors here, except Jackson's friends' visits sometimes.

When he opened the door, to his shock, he found Mark in sportswear and with a small water bottle in his hand.

"Hey, morning, sorry for this sudden visit," Mark said, rubbing his nape for a moment, "I was jogging and I thought I'd stop by."

"I don't mind," Jinyoung smiled, "Come in."

Jinyoung subtly checked himself and suddenly wanted to change into something more appropriate then this gray t-shirt and these loose pants which were now on his body.

"I'd just finished the breakfast and was doing the dishes. Will you wait here? I'll come back with a coffee."

Mark nodded and Jinyoung disappeared back into the kitchen. When he came out again with a cup of coffee, Mark was only in a white t-shirt, his sport jacket having been taken off.

"Don't you change into something else?" Jinyoung asked, handing Mark the coffee.

"I haven't got any extra clothes. Thanks for the coffee, Jinyoung," Mark sipped the coffee, "You're alone?"

"Jackson's out. He's always with Wendy at the weekends. Come to think of it, you've never met Jackson here."

"And I've been here only twice," Mark chuckled, "So, you're always alone at the weekends? Don't you go out as well? On a date, perhaps?"

"Mmm," for some reason, Jinyoung blushed, "You won't believe me, but I've never dated anyone."

Mark looked astonished, "For real? But why won't anyone be interested in you. You're handsome. And kind of cool. A type girls would totally fall for."

Jinyoung's heart raced with more of nervousness; this was the situation in which he either remained silent or corrected Mark. Would Mark feel disgusted if he knew Jinyoung was gay? But on the other hand, Jinyoung did not want Mark to get the wrong idea.

"I like guys," Jinyoung murmured, barely heard. For the second time, he witnessed Mark's shock and then Mark was trying to compose himself.

"That's news. Okay, guys then. So you've never dated any guy?"

Jinyoung could not judge whether Mark really did not mind that or he was just being polite. Jinyoung asked, "Is that okay with you? I mean, the fact that I'm gay."

"Why wouldn't it be? You're just you, regardless of your sexual orientation. I don't discriminate, Jinyoung."

"Aren't you afraid that I might like you? Because I'm gay?"

Mark looked startled for a moment and then laughed, "No? I might even be honoured to be liked by someone like you. Didn't I say you're cool and handsome?"

Maybe, Mark had jokingly answered and did not mean it. Jinyoung just dropped the conversation before it went too far. But something in the atmosphere had changed; there was a sign of tension in the air. Jinyoung could blame himself only and tried to search for another topic.

"Mm, do you believe in parallel universe?"

Mark seemed to be blank for a moment and then asked, "You do?"

"Yes, or rather I like that idea of it existing. Just imagine other Jinyoungs and Marks in parallel universe," Jinyoung chuckled.

"Let's say, I'm neutral. I neither believe nor disbelieve it. But yeah the idea's fascinating though. So what do you think your other Jinyoungs might be doing at the moment?"

"I hope they're doing well in whatever they're doing. And not as hopeless as I'm when it comes to romance."

"You're hopeless?"

"Yeah, when I like someone unreachable," Jinyoung said casually, shaking his head with an absent smile.

Mark stared at Jinyoung for a moment, "You've someone you like? From our university?"

"You can say so. But forget it. I don't see any hope anyway."

"Why?"

Jinyoung could not find an answer that would not be obvious. At last, he settled for a general answer, "Because he's not meant for me. He has someone perfect by his side and probably I mean nothing to him."

What Jinyoung did not realise was how his eyes were intensely and grimly set on Mark as he said those words. And Mark's eyes were intent.

"He might give you a chance."

"Would you though?" Jinyoung asked, "If it were you?"

There was no answer but Mark's eyes did not leave Jinyoung's, as if he was trying to read something in Jinyoung's eyes.

Mark stood up and came to Jinyoung. This was not what Jinyoung had expected; this was the least expected. He slightly shivered when Mark's hand made its way to his face.

He had no idea of what Mark was thinking. Mark's touch was gentle, so gentle that Jinyoung felt he did not deserve it. When Mark's lips grazed his, he forgot whys and hows, and shut his eyes, just as Mark's lips fell on his.

That was what kissing someone he liked felt like. Surreal but real enough to make him notice the irregular heartbeats and the emotions he had not known he was capable of feeling before, rushing in. He could not even fancy that Mark was playing a joke on him because it was too good, too fantastic, too overwhelming to be a joke.

When Mark pulled away, Jinyoung could feel Mark's uneven breath on his lips. It was not enough, Jinyoung wanted more; he wanted to taste those reddish lips again.

"That was what you wanted?" Mark's voice came out like a whisper. He did not let go of Jinyoung, as if he was fulfilling what Jinyoung wanted again.

"But not what you wanted?" Jinyoung whispered back.

"It was good. The very first time I've kissed a guy."

"Was it not weird?"

"No. It was good," Mark repeated. "Come." Mark pulled Jinyoung up and seemed to be going somewhere.

"Where?"

"Your bedroom," Mark said into Jinyoung's ear and chuckled.

Shock was an understatement and he followed Mark to his own bedroom. Everything that happened afterwards was more than what he could wish for. On that still bed, they lay naked and Mark's experienced hands and lips brought pleasure to Jinyoung at the body parts which he had never known had been sensitive.

But Mark was a bit confused, having never had gay sex. So, at some point, it was a little awkward but they managed. When Mark was totally inside him, Jinyoung felt he could come from that sensation alone. He tried to last as long as he could when Mark was thrusting into him.

When they had reached their orgasms, Mark fell onto Jinyoung and they sought each other's warmth, cuddling against one another.

Jinyoung was afraid Mark would regret but Mark looked peaceful and ready to fall asleep any moment. So, Jinyoung shook his thoughts off and joined Mark for a nap.
