Role Call: Dolion, Eliodoro, Kel, Uldin

Kel lie in his bed, sound asleep. A smile rests across his wrinkly face as he dreams of the Peregrine Pearl, though he does not dream with sight, but smell. The delicious aroma of freshly roasted beans and brewing coffee wafts throughout the space. Siri is at the register taking orders and the shop seems to be buzzing with new patrons. The front door cracks open. The urban landscape of sewage and pollution floods this sanctuary of a building. A breeze rushes into the cafe, trailing with it the stench of ash and smoke. The wind begins entering Kel's body, filling his insides. His lungs are on fire as the smell seems to encompass the entirety of the dream. Then he awakes.

The party, having rested from the warehouse, are ready to undertake their next mission to deliver their letter to Isperia in the Azorius.

Eliodoro arrives at the Azorius building. His uniform is crisp, hair slicked back, a cigarette missing from his lips. Uldin arrives in his common clothes, though he seems to have a certain effortless shine to him. The comfortable lifestyle seems to be treating him rather well. Kel seems cleaned up enough to meet the leader of the Azorius, though Eliodoro would have preferred a bit more effort. His mind completely shifts from the loxodon upon seeing a certain Simic hybrid however.

Dolion arrives in his street clothes, a bit scratched and torn here and there, but still fully functional. The smell of the street perfumes in an area around the thief.

Eliodoro, clearly upset by Dolion's lack of respect for this important meeting, rushes over to him and hounds him about cleaning himself up. Dolion doesn't seem happy of the notion that his true self would be unacceptable in front of the great sphinx, but Eliodoro eventually convinces him to clean up a bit with the use of Prestidigitation. Eliodoro still appears rather upset, but is relieved that at least no one on his team will be entering the courtroom with sour smelling clothing.

The party passes the front desk where the homunculus Pssglr sits doing paperwork.

"You finally did it, Eliodoro. You finally took down Krinko."

"Yeah, yeah. Everyone's a critic." He says, giving her a passing glance. The party starts walking down the hall towards the grand courtroom where they shall be having council with Isperia. The hallway is twenty feet wide with grand architecture heading up for about eighty or more feet. Everything in the hallway is a stark white, almost as if its design was chosen specifically to dare anyone to jeopardize this building in any way.

The walls and floor are suddenly cast into a bright red as alarms belch down the hall. Members of Rakdos, some in grim states of health charge the party's direction towards the entrance. Five in total, six including a small impish creature that seems to be flickering into and out of existence in shadows and flame above the group, carrying a set of keys on its tail. Eliodoro recognizes four of the men as the performers he had seen on stage in the night club the night he went to meet the blood witch, Judith. Two of the performers seem to be in good health. One has his hands in front of him in glowing blue handcuffs with sphinx lettering. His arm dangles, appearing to be dislocated, as if his hands had originally been behind him and he had dislodged his own shoulder from its socket willingly. The fourth performer seems to have had his legs bound together and has decided it to be more efficient to sprint down the halls on his hands, with feet in the air. The last Rakdos man in the back is a much larger fellow, covered in piercings and sporting an all too familiar toothy grin. This one, Eliodoro realizes, is that sly bartender, Borris.

  Combat begins.

Eliodoro charges toward the performer in handcuffs (Shoulder). Eliodoro uses burning hands and manages to hit all of the performers: (Shoulder), the healthy one on the left (LeftHealthy), the one on the right (RightHealthy), and the one running on his hands (Hands). All four of them take 15 hp worth of fire damage.
