Roll Call: Dolion, Eliodoro, Kai, Uldin
In the couple of days of rest after their meeting with Isperia, Eliodoro has used his Find Familar ritual to transform his owl Bill into a black cat. He has also chosen to spend his days looking through the Libraries at the Simic Combine for books on pre-guild history. Dolion went to the libraries as well and noticed Eliodoro taking books from the reserved sections, but managed to avoid his sight.
Dolion spent the day looking for any texts involving the transformation of humans into ghosts. All the books he could find kept saying that in order for a human to become a ghost upon death, contract magic must be put into use, but it wouldn't go into anything specific outside of that. Dolion gives up his search for information at the library and travels to the Orzhov Syndicate.
Dolion made his way inside the Orzhov bank and noticed Boh'b walking down a hall, nose in a a stack of papers.
"Boh'b! Hello, I was looking for you. Would you have a moment to talk?"
Boh'b eyes the hybrid up and down. "Who are you?"
"The bank, Kinez'j, Estelle, all of that."
"Ah! Yes. You're with that group of trouble makers... Why would I want to meet with you?"
"Well, we talked with Isperia and she actually made us all deputies now and put us in search of information of the happenings at the bank."
"Deputy you say? Do you have any proof of these claims?"
Dolion pulls out the sheet of paper proclaiming his deputyship. Despite it only being a day since the meeting with Isperia, it has been crumbled up and contains a few stains here and there.
"I see... Well, it does appear official. Alright, follow me."
Dolion follows Boh'b to an empty room containing black velvet furniture. Dolion asks about any results with information involving the ghost in the vault.
"We're looking into it." he says.
Dolion throws 20 gold on the table. Boh'b scoops up the gold, and tells Dolion that they know that the ghost was a type of shade: a ghost not created through the Orzhov. Dolion presses for questions on how one goes about creating shades, but seems to get nowhere as such things are Orzhov secrets and would threaten Boh'b life if he were to share.
"Well I guess that's one more word to add to my vocabulary," Dolion says. "I guess that makes this almost worth it."
Dolion, clearly frustrated, pulls out a copper coin and throws it at Boh'b. It hits his tie, then drops to the ground.
"Have a nice day." Boh'b hisses with a sarcastic tone and a bright, big smile. Dolion leaves.
Kai has spent his off days training with the other super soldiers at the Simic. A hybrid mixed with a tiger lion fish named Spirl grabs Kai's spears and flips him other his back. Kai grunts, but thanks the man for the learning opportunity. Kai is not unattracted to Spirl's rugged and dangerous appearance.
Uldin has traveled to the Izzet guild hall with his idea to include a weird (an elemental containing two elements) within his giant izpresso machine. He discusses with other members the idea to use a bag of holding as a way to hold pressure within a large machine, but there are a few problems with that idea to say the least. He gets the idea to use fire and water to create a steam weird, then using that with a decanter of endless water to create an infinite amount of steam, but is unsure about the prospect of using a sentient creature inside his machine.
"Are weirds even really sentient?" a goblin woman with a hoverboard asks, with many weirds present in the room. This soon breaks out into a fight.
