44 - Broken Hopes

Next  morning

" This girl Dia , she is really suspicious. Annu I am warning you she is planning something against us " Kabir was tailing behind Ananya with this same dialogue from the moment she said what happened at
Mr Hooda's room.

" Yaar Kabir give me a break. You are eating my ears from yesterday night. What I can do in this ? Mr Hooda asked for a help from Amaya and how can I say a no ? He is the only  person who supports Amaya in everything. " Ananya yelled at Kabir

" Vidya... I think she wanted to collect evidence against us and then disclose our drama in front of everyone " Kabir moved to Vidya and said.

" So ? Didn't you hear what she said ? We are screwed Kabir there is no other way than letting Dia close to us." Vidya also yelled at him

" Kabir we can understand your fear but what I am saying is keeping Dia close to us is actually good for us " Piyali said. She was walking behind everyone and after hearing what she said everyone stopped for a second and turned back to look at her.

" What you mean by that ? " Ananya asked.

" Dia is the only one who we can manipulate easily. Also her issue with Amaya is nothing small. She was literally happy when we said that Amaya is missing. May be she knows something which nobody knows. May be something which is important for us. " Piyali said with a wicked smile

" So what we should do from now ? " Dhruv asked doubtfully.

" What else ? do some drama in front of her and drain all information from her " Pranav replied for his doubt.

" Yes... We will be nice to her. Atleast pretend to be nice but don't trust her. She can back stab us anytime . Agree ? " Piyali looked at her friends and everyone agreed with her.

When they reached infront of their office everyone becomes so surprised to see Dia already waiting for them to open their office door.

" Good morning everyone " Dia wished everyone so happily.

" What are you doing infront of our office at this time ? " Ananya enquired looking at her watch.

" You forgot already ? From today onwards we are friends right ? You have to teach me and show me the right path. So I came here to become a good girl under my Amaya di's... Ohio.. sorry Ananya di's  guidance " Dia replied more like making fun of them. Ananya flinched back when Dia held her hands and and hugged it.

" Something is wrong. I think she took wrong medicine today " Kabir leaned toward Vidya and whispered

" Acting, acting " Piyali warned them.

Ananya pulled her hands from Dia's grip and walked inside the office following by her friends. Everyone took their place and Piyali switched on their systems.

" So tell me what I should do ? How you want me to become a good girl ?  " Dia came and stood at the middle of that room and asked all excited.

" Sit there and study something. We are doing our job and you do yours which is studying " Ananya said without even taking her eyes from desktop screen. Surprisingly Dia obeyed what Ananya said.

After few hours Dev came to their office and he was shocked to watch that scene. Dia was sitting obediently on couch and rest of them were discussing something related to their work.

" Dev.... ''

"What happened ? Do you need something ? " Ananya saw Dev who was standing at the door without saying anything.
