Everyone looked at eachother cluelessly when Annu didn't recognised them but asking only for Gautham. Her friends were confused that whether she is asking him for a confrontation or is it her old concern for Gautham.

" Ann... "

" Annu. ..... " Ranveer pulled Amaya back and leaned forward to Annu calling her gently.

" Take your time to recollect old memories. We are all here for you ...... You recognise me right ? " He gently rubbed on her hand and talked to Annu. Actually it was a try .... He wished atleast Annu recognise his voice. But from there Annu didn't respond to anything just stare at the ceiling.

" What happened to her ? " Vidya asked worriedly .

" This is called minimally concious state. She is concious and can react but minimally. Neither coma nor fully conscious. " Amaya replied to Vidya.

" She will be fine right ? You said she isn't in complete coma so..... she.... Will be fine soon right ? " Piyali asked curiously.

" She have to be fine..... Such cases can last for 4 weeks or less than that. Nothing can be said now. We should continue with the treatment and observe her now. Then only we could say something. " Aditya explained to them.

" He is right....more than medicines presence of family and friends makes it easy for her. Talk to her and help her to remember things. Efforts should be made to establish functional communication and environmental interaction when possible. Like ..... Offering opportunities, meaningful activities such as listening to music or watching television, being shown pictures or hearing family members and friends talking. Even putting flowers in the room or spraying her favourite perfume also works. She can sense that smell. As for touch, hold her hand or stroke her skin with different fabrics. Since visiting time was over everyone walked out with a sad face. It's a relief Annu opened her eyes but this Annu wasn't they wanted but their old chirpy girl. Ranveer looked at Annu with a sadness filled smile and walked out with a churning heart. Outside his mom and dad werr waiting for him but he didn't even noticed them.

Ranveer strided to outside the hospital and opened his car door started searching for something annoyingly.

" Nothing won't be there on place " he grunted angrily and finally got what he was searching for. He took a cigarette from the packet and again started looking for a lighter.

Before he could light it his dad came there and snatched the cigarette from his mouth along with the packet.

" From when did you start this habit ? " Mr Hooda asked him with a smile but Ranveer stood there with his grumpy face. He really wanted to cry loudly but more than sadness he was angry, jealousy filled anger. Clenching his jaw Ranveer looked around and sealed his mouth implying to his dad that he don't want to talk with anyone right now and just leave him alone.

" Why are you like this Veer ? Is it because Annu didn't recognise you ? Or Annu took her husband's name very first ..."

" Dad ... He is not her husband. " Ranveer yelled at his dad when Harish address Gautham as Annu's husband.

" Then who is he ? They are married legally and that does make them husband and wife " his dad chuckled watching Ranveer getting worked up for what he said and tried to talk to him calmly.
