122 - The meeting

Ranvijay's house
Next morning

Mahi came down from room getting ready to leave somewhere in a hurry. She saw Ranvijay near to dining table preparing the table for breakfast and he was carrying the baby in a baby carrier. Both brother and sister seems to be in a very good mood morning itself.

" Good morning my sweetie..... " Mahi pinched on baby's cheek and quickly grabbed an apple from the table. Ranvijay was smiling at her all this time but she didn't even looked at his face.

" I am leaving ..... " Said Mahi while checking something on her phone.

" What ? Where are you going at this morning ? " Ranvijay looked at the table where he prepared the breakfast for both of them with so much love.

" Library...... I am already late... okay then '' Mahi turned to leave but he stopped her quickly by holding on her hand.

" Why are you like this? I mean don't we have something to discuss about yesterday night ? " Ranvijay asked

" Yesterday night what ? " Mahi stood there with a baffled face.

" Yesterday night what ? Mahi yesterday you and I .......  We both were together. You loved me....."

" Wait wait wait..,..... Wait a minute " Mahi quickly stopped Ranvijay be he could say something further.

" You are still there at yesterday night ? Oh God,  It was just a...... I mean sometimes it happens Vijay. Haven't you heard about no strings attached ? We both were very desperate for eachother so we did. Is there anything to discuss in that ? " Mahi looked normal but Ranvijay face looked pale.

" How can you say that ? It wasn't like any random one. I really liked you and I ...... " Hearing Mahi's response Ranvijay was like what to say now ? Or how to make her understand what he feels ?

" Oh ..... Thank you then. I will take it as a compliment. Okay  bye..... " Mahi chuckled hearing his comment and pulled her hand from his grip to leave.

'' Mahi wait..... Hear me first. Why you are behaving like it's nothing ? Don't you feel anything about last night ? You said you love me yesterday night....." His sound trembled while talking and he looked at Mahi pathetically.

" Love ? Seriously ? I might have said  but it's not in that sense Ranvijay. May be I said because I was very much into you or in that pleasure I should have said something like that. To be frank you are an outstanding one and I really liked you. But it's over yesterday night itself. We are not teenagers or amatures who is having sex for the first time to discuss about it later. What's your age Vijay ? " Mahi asked standing there crossing her hands.

" 30 .... " He replied

" I am 27 ...... Do you think that this is my age to get worried about with whom I slept with and that's according to my wish ? Oh come on man we are not living in 17th century or something. What happened yesterday it's over.  If we both feel like doing it again may be it will happen again . This is not a big deal. Take it easy and be cool man.... " Mahi patted on his shoulders and ran from there leaving Ranvijay devastated.

He looked at table all sad and then at his sister pouting his lips.

" What was that item ? I thought Vidya was the most heartless one in this world but I was wrong " he talked to his sister who was making all sounds which she knows.

" What ? Time pass ? She doesn't even know what kind of play boy was I before ? Acting so cool in front of me after making me fall for her ? Then I know what to do make you fall for me. " Ranvijay talked to himself and he was already making a plan for Mahi to fall for him.
