66 - Getting complicated

" That's strange...... How Dev can act so cool ? "

Next morning at punarjani when Ananya met ger friends and they gathered around her to know what happened last night.
Ananya explained everything in detail and how Dev reacted to their marriage also she showed his them the  present he gave .

" Yes... That's what I was also thinking. His behaviour was soo confusing. What I expected he behaved just opposite to it. " Said Ananya.

" I expected a face to face war between two brothers but this has become some Ram, Laxman , Bharath type brotherhood. Ready to give up anything for brother. " Piyali said. Ananya stood there thinking about something very deeply.

" What are you thinking ? " Kabir enquired.

" Does Dev knows about our truth ? I mean does he get to know that I am not Amaya but her sister ? " Ananya looked at her friends with a confused face.

" Then he should have reacted long back. You saw how Ranveer reacted then Dev will definitely get furious for sure " Pranav replied

" But what my mind is reminding me that how Dev's behaviour changed soon after that party night. We both messed up things . He confessed to me and I rejected him. He tried to kiss me but I slapped him. I felt bad and he looked so angry that time but next morning he behaved like nothing happened and we patched up very quickly. " Ananya stopped for a second and again started to think

" So ? What are you trying to say ? " Vidya asked

" Dev knows something and he is playing with us " Ananya replied

" Dev knows everything and yes I am playing with you "  all stood stumbled when they heard Dev's sound from back. They didn't have enough guts to turn back and confirm that the sound was of Dev's.

" You guys don't have to hide from this moment. Even if you do there isn't of any use  " Dev walked into their office with a smirk. Ananya bit her lips and turned slowly to face Dev.

" Dev......." Ananya looked at him pathetically.

" How you...... " Dhruv was stammering and he couldn't get anything to say. Slanting back towards the table Dev stood infront of everyone crossing his hands.

" When you find it out ? " Ananya asked in a low voice. He stared at Ananya for few seconds and then ran his eyes at others. Taking a deep breath he grabbed a chair to sit.

" 10 years....... it's been 10 years I fell for Amaya. We were in a relationship for these ten years .... We are still in a relationship. So for me observing the changes in my lover isn't a huge task. Yeah that memory loss drama worked very well and that's why it took so long to find out which is real and which is fake "

" Party night was just a test for you Ananya. I just wanted to confirm your aren't my Amaya and it worked. When we impersonate someone there will be places we do mistakes especially when you are impersonating your own sister who is exact opposite of what Ananya is. You are too naive for this drama " no one, literally no one was breathing when Dev said each and every word.

" All day you were proving in front of me that you are not my Amaya. I felt betrayed , even my sister backed up for this lie drama. I observed you and for some good reason I found that you guys aren't harmful for my family or hospital . Only because of that I keep silence. " Dev said

" We..... There wasn't any...... I just wanted to help .... " Ananya wanted to say many things but she was numb through out her body.

" We need you here till Amaya comes back and where is she no one knows. I am also trying my best to find her  from my side. Since you are here as Amaya we can't file any official complaint. What I want to say is  be careful from now on. Each and every step is crucial. In any case you guys get caught by others even Ranveer can't help you out from this mess " Dev said.
