79 - An year back

Writer's pov

When Ananya and Ranveer went back to Hooda mansion Ranveer got busy with his uncle and then went to meet someone. Since there isn't much time left for election uncle wanted to introduce Ranveer to many people. Slowly he is also getting into that Hooda family's business world so he need connections.

Ananya was in their room and meanwhile got a call from Vidya. Whenever Ananya sees Vidya her self esteem will hit rock bottom. She don't know how Vidya will react after knowing about that her best friend back made a business deal with her ex husband with Vidya.  Ananya just wanted to pray to god that Ranveer win this election with maximum votes so that she don't have to seek any help from Ranvijay or his shares. Making herself strong Ananya somehow took the call.

" Annu... It's a bad news. That girl we went to meet at emigo medicals .....
she got discharged and only Ranveer knows where is she " Vidya said in a sad tone.

" What ? Ranveer ? How ? " Ananya was also surprised to hear that .

" Since no one showed up for her as gaurdian he took her responsibility.  Usually hospital will call child helpline number and they will take care of rest things but for her Ranveer came forward and with police permission he took her to some shelter for such girls. So Annu.... you go and ask to him where is she ? " Vidya said

" He isn't here Vidya. He went out with  uncle inorder to meet some important client " Ananya replied

"It's fine ask him once he comes back."

" Okay then.....  Good night " Vidya took phone and was about to cut it

" Vidya....... " Before cutting the call Ananya stopped her.

" Tell me ..." Vidya asked.

" It's been a long time you are leaving seperately from Ranvijay. Don't you ever miss him ? " Vidya frowned her face after hearing that sudden question from Annu.

" Why you are asking me about it now ? Why should I miss that jerk ? He is living his life and I am living mine " Vidya replied nonchalantly.

" You both loved each other. If you don't miss him then why you are making yourself away from loving anyone else ? Why you are not thinking about someone else if you are over with him ? " Ananya asked

" What happened to you at this night Ananya ? How this Ranvijay made entry into this conversation from no where ? I am not dating anyone because I don't think so I can love someone like I loved that jerk or I still never met a man who can heal me.  " Vidya replied.

" Why can't you give one final chance to Ranvijay ? He promised you he won't be like that old play boy. " Ananya asked again

" I shared everything that happened in my life with you but except one thing. I don't want to share that with anyone.. ...and like you thinking issue between Ranvijay and I never gonna end. "

" I know he cheated behind your back but he learnt his mistake now. He only needs you Vidya. Just one time forgive him." Ananya begged to Vidya.

" I am not mad at him .... It's just I don't have any feelings for him now. I forgive him for cheating on me  long back ago because may be somewhere I was incapable for satisfying him as a wife and that's why he went to others. But the real issue between us is ....... It's unforgivable Annu. Even if I forgive him there is someone who will hurt more than anyone and I don't want him to get hurt because of me and Ranvijay. Let's Stop his conversation here. It won't end for good. " Vidya cut the call making Ananya silent.

Ananya lost her last hope about making Vidya understand and change her mind but she understood that's never gonna happen and the scar Ranvijay gave her is something really bad.
