132 - Restless

Ranveer was walking infront of operation theatre from here and there restlessly for hours. Annu was immediately taken to hospital as she was still breathing.

" Surgery is still going. Nobody came out from theatre till now. Ranveer was shouting at them for all these time. We somehow made him calm down. Don't tell Amaya that Annu was shot. We can't control both if she also come here " Vidya was talking to Sanjay who called her asking for details.

" I will call you after sometime. One of my friend works there. Let me ask him " Sanjay cut the call and Vidya came back to sit beside Pranav.

" What the hell are they doing inside ? " Ranveer yelled by banging his hand on the door.

" Ranveer how can you behave like this when you are a doctor ? " Dhruv frowned his face and asked to Ranveer

" Yes... that's why I am going restless here. It's going to be 4 hours, till now no one came out to give the details. I asked them to remove the bullet and give do the first aid so that we can take her back to Emigo medicals. Their one mistake  costs her life " Ranveer sat on a chair raking his hand through the hair.

Meanwhile Pranav saw few people coming towards them and seemed like hospital management people.

" Dr Ranveer Singh Hooda ? " One came towards Ranveer and asked. Clenching on his teeth Ranveer looked at them.

" Dr Harish Singh Hooda, director of Emigo medicals ?..." Management officer looked at Ranveer doubtfully

" My dad ... What you want ? " Ranveer asked

" He contacted us sir..... He asked us to airlift the patient Ananya to Mumbai. Everything is prepared by him. Her doctor will talk to you now. Also
Mr Hooda asked you to attend his phone calls  " manager gave the information he had for Ranveer and left from there.

Soon after Ranveer looked at his phone in which his dad was calling for hours. This time he took the call.

" Don't worry Veer. Annu will be fine , first get a hold on yourself. She needs you now more than anything. Don't think about anything else, about Indrajith and Pooja let me take care of it. Trust me son this time I won't repeat my mistake " Mr Hooda console Ranveer and cut the call.

Just like he said doctor who was taking care of Annu came out from OT and talked to Ranveer. He explained her current condition and asked Ranveer to take the decision whether to airlift Annu to Mumbai or let them handle her.

Ranveer ran his eyes on the the tab which had Annu's reports. He felt like he is right now walking on egg shells. It's risky to transfer her but he is confident that he can save her or else he has to agree for a experiment with her life.

" I think we should trust them Ranveer. We can't take this risk putting her life on stake " Dhruv suggested.

" Right now I can't trust anyone with her. I know I am being such a stupid here but I can't change my mind. " Ranveer replied

" Then ? Do you want to put her life on stake ? " Pranav almost yelled at Ranveer getting angry. Ranveer looked tensed and nervous at the same time getting difficult to take a right decision.

" If you are confident enough then you should listen to your heart Ranveer, that's my decision. We have money, source and everything you need for this situation. If you lacks from confidence then what about us ? " Vidya told him her suggestion and asked Ranveer to do what he feels right. Ranveer looked at Vidya for few seconds and smiled at her. It was like he thanked her without saying it.

" We are transferring her. " He said his decision and after that everything was in a hurry. With so much care and precautions Annu was airlifted to Emigo medicals.
