83 - The real fox

" Quick.... Quick .... Quick.... "

Ranveer screamed in his top of lungs to the staffs who were taking Ananya in stretcher towards OT.

Ranveer stood outside all tensed when they took her inside. His both hands were covered with blood and he kept on staring at his hands. He ran towards the scrubbing area. He saw Dr Aditya there who is going attending Ananya.

" Aditya....... Please.... Save her....... Please " Aditya was little surprised to see Ranveer like that. He was literally begging to him looked pathetic.

" Ranveer...... " Aditya stood there silently for few seconds watching Ranveer confused what to say. Whether to mock him or ignore. Not even in his dream Aditya thought that he will get to see Ranveer like this. Fear for losing someone.

" Bro ...... She will be safe.... It's my promise " he patted on his shoulders and started scrubbing. After all these years it's the first time he is again calling him as bro. During college time it was usual. Sanjay, Ranveer and Aditya. He don't want to remember how their friendship breaks and both didn't even tried to sort it out or never got a chance.

Whole hospital was in a code blue condition as the emergency room was filled with injured peoples.

" Vidya..... "

" Vidya..... "

" Vidya open your eyes... Please..." Sanjay was trying to wake up Vidya as she was getting unconscious slowly.

" Get it fast...." He screamed at the sisters who went to take the emergency kit.

" Vidya........... Please..... Hang in there. Don't close your eyes" He again and again slightly patted on her face to wake her up but only some fainted moans he got as reply.

Piyali was conscious but she was crying due to the immese pain she felt on her hand.
Kabir, Pranav and Dhruv were already taken to ICU.

Sanjay couldn't even put gloves properly because his hands were shivering and he feels like crying.

" Move from there "

" I will do it " Ranveer joined back for duty replaced Sanjay. He knows how does it feel like watching your loved ones bathed in blood and you won't be able to do anything other than a numb feeling all over the body. Ranveer experienced that same feeling few seconds before.  He cleaned up her wound first which was bit deep and started the procedures.

Hours passed hospital atmosphere became little stable. Piyali was in dressing room putting plaster on her broken hand. Vidya was kept under observation for 48 hours, Dhruv opened his eyes but he was very weak. Pranav was injured but not seriously atleast he could walk and went to check on Piyali. Kabir was still unconscious.

"Fortunately wound wasn't deep like we thought but comparatively internal bleeding was heavy.
Complete rest is important till the stitches are healed. Then you know... Follow the basic precautions. Avoid everything that can cause infection " Ranveer silently heard what Aditya said.

" I will suggest complete bed rest... "  He added

" yeah.... Thank you so much. I will take care of it " Ranveer replied.

" If anything would have happened to Amaya..... Then today I would have lost my best friend right ? " Ranveer looked at Aditya with his frowned face.

" I understood one thing..... Your life is actually with that girl. That's interesting ...." Aditya said with a witty smile and went back to his cabin.
