Chapter 7

Charlie's P.O.V.

"Another round." I say after I took my eight shot of the night.

I honestly love to drink because it just gets me in a happy mood plus Zane and Matt love to drink too so I don't mind.

"Charlie, you had too much." David says trying to get me to stop so I won't have alcohol poisoning.

"But David." I tell him before I give him my puppy eyes to try and convince him.

"No."

"Come on, guy. We don't need that negativity in our lives." I say to Matt and Zane as I completely ignore David.

"Charlie." David says as he continues to call my name yet I continue to ignore him.

"Charlie."

"David."

"David." I say imitating him after I decide to not ignore him anymore.

"It's time to go home." David says before I nod.

"Where are my keys?" I ask him as I can't remember where I place them.

Why am I even following his instructions?

"Natalie is driving you home. You can get your car tomorrow." David says answering my questions before I roll my eyes.

"Let's go, drunk people." Natalie says meaning Zane, Matt and me.

"Can you drop me off at their house instead of mine?" I ask Natalie after all four of us got in her car.

"You're inviting yourself over to their house?" Natalie asks me before I nod.

"You can sleep with in my bed and I'll sleep in the couch." Zane says trying to be a defensive older brother.

Honestly from the whole group, Zane acts like a brother to me and well Matt I don't even know.

"She's sleeping with me." Matt tells Zane before Natalie looks at me and I shake my head.

"If he offers, I don't mind." I say acting like we haven't done this for the past couple of nights.

"Charlie, you're sleeping along. That's it." Zane says trying to be protective.

"But I want to cuddle with Matt." I fake cry to try and convince him.

"I'll think about it."

"Zane, is they both want to then they should." Natalie says taking my side before I smile to myself.

"Fine."

"You want some Advil?" Matt asks me as I am sitting on his bed with the biggest headache ever.

I don't even know how I got here but I guess it's the fault of all the alcohol I consumed.

"I'm good." I tell him since I don't like taking pills.

"Did we kiss last night or something?" I ask him curiously before he shakes his head.

Good, I don't want to kiss him and then forget about it. I mean like I would like to remember that moment for a long time.

"Charlie." Matt speaks after a couple seconds of silence.

"Yes?" I ask excited to know what he wants to talk about.

"You should leave." Matt says trying to not look me in the eyes.

"Okay, I'll see you later then." I say after I get off his bed.

"It's not necessary."

What is going on? Does he not want me to talk to him anymore? Does he not like me? Did he ever like me? I guess I'm the woman who always gets played. I swear I must have a paper on my back that says play me.

"Goodbye then." I say before I make my way out of his room.

I walk downstairs to see Zane, Jeff, Heath and Todd in the kitchen.

"You had fun?" Todd asks me before sending me a wink which made me roll my eyes.

"We didn't do anything."

"Speaking of anything, Natalie wants you ASAP." Heath says trying to sound like Natalie before we all laugh.

"Alright, I will see you guys later or something." I tell them saying my goodbyes before making my way to the front of the house.

"Charlie, wait up." Jeff says after I take my phone out to order an Uber to David's house.

"Yes, Jeff?"

"Look about the other day, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable or anything." Jeff says trying to apologize before I smile at him.

"You didn't make me uncomfortable or anything. I have to think who I can hook you up with that is lowkey and their managers won't mind." I tell him before he shakes his head and I give him a confuse look.

"You don't have to hook me up with anything, it's fine. I will just accept the fact that now she might be going out with Evan Peters."

I feel bad knowing that I am quite close with Natalie and I am getting close with Jeff and seeing how she breaks his heart without meaning to.

"Jeff, you are an amazing guy that any girl would be lucky to have. Natalie just has for realize what she has and she will." I explain to him before he brings me in for an unexpected hug.

"You're too good. You know that, right?" Jeff whispers in my ear as I hug him back.

"Apparently not." I whisper back before he stops hugging me and looks back at me.

"What are you talking about?" Jeff asks me but I'm not sure if he is concern or just wants to know because he is curious.

"I really like Matt and I give him a lot of signs that I like him yet he won't make a move. Maybe I'm not good enough" I explain to Jeff before he shakes his head.

"You are perfect, he must be out of his mind to not want a girl like you." Jeff tells me before I smile.

"Thanks Jeff but I should probably get going now." I mention after a couple seconds of silence.

"I'll drive you to David's since you probably were going to take an Uber." Jeff tells me before I nod.

"You're the best."

"Let me to get my keys." Jeff tells me before he walks inside.

Once he goes inside, I look towards the house and see that Matt was just looking out the window.

Honestly Matt is so confusing that I can not handle it.
