Chapter 10

Charlie's P.O.V.

"Oh yes!" I say excitedly as we all walk into Coachella.

"Time to get drunk," Zane comments before I nod.

"The drinks are too expensive here." Matt comments before everyone looks at me.

Here we go....

"Just because I'm rich doesn't mean I am going to pay for everyone... but I do know where to get free booze," I tell them before they all cheer.

"What a keeper," David comments into the camera before I roll my eyes.

"I'll be back with the drinks," I tell them before I grab Natalie and make my way backstage.

"You're allowed to go backstage?" Natalie asks before me I shake my head as we are walking over there.

"I mean I know most of the celebrities and their security plus their very chill," I explain to her.

After walking for about fifteen minutes, we reach backstage where they did not ask for my ID since they all already know me.

"Just get a bag and put as much alcohol as you can," I tell Natalie before I look around for Niall since he wanted to talk.

"There you are," I say after I spot and walk towards him.

"It's nice to see you," Niall says as he brings me in for a hug.

"You too."

"Sorry about the other day at the party." Niall apologizes after bringing me out of the hug.

"It's all good. It was weird tho since we usually pre-party together."

"Oh and by the way this is Natalie." I say after
Natalie walks over to us with the bag full of alcohol.

"It's lovely to meet you, Natalie." Niall says being charming as usual before she blushes.

"Well we better get going back to start drinking before it's too late." I tell Niall before he says his goodbyes and leaves.

"He is charming." Natalie comments before I chuckle.

"Why wouldn't he be? He's a former one direction member." I tell her sarcastically before she laughs at me as we make our way back.

"Did you and Niall?" Natalie asks curiously before I nod.

"What?!" Natalie yells surprise before I roll my eyes.

"It's nothing." I assure her before she chuckles.

"I don't think Matt would take this well. He is probably scared you're too good for him. And when he finds out you had something with hottie direction... let's just say his self-esteem is going way down."

"If he finds out. You're like the fourth person that knows so just keep it on the low."

"Find out what?" David asks as we join the group.

"How much alcohol we took!" I say trying to play it cool so people won't find out the actual conversation.

"Here, we just have to distribute it." I say before Natalie and I take our bags off.

I put the bag on the ground before counting the beer.

"Ayee." I yell after Zane finishes the 4rd beer in a row within five minutes.

"Beat that." Zane yells at me a bit to excited before I shake my head.

"Wow, you think so low of me. I can beat that by double." I say a bit too cocky as David is filming this interaction.

"You're going to get alcohol poisoning." Jeff comments before I chuckle, not today.

"Jeff out here defending his girl." Jonah comments before I roll my eyes.

"Got to do my best." He says with a smirk.

What a jerk! Knowing I like Matt and all.

"I mean.. I don't know about his girl." Natalie says trying to step in for me as I make eye contact with Matt.

"Do I call a triangle love?" Zane comments into the conversation.

"Begin the timer." I command as I get ready to bet Zane's record.

As the five minutes went down, the cans of beer also went down my trough.

"Ten...nine..eight..-" David says continuing down as the five minutes.

"And done!" I say finishing my 12 can of beer.

"As much as I would like to keep doing this, Billie is playing soon." Corinna comments before everyone nods.

"Uhh lets go." I say before I skip towards the stage.

"She's too drunk." Mariah comments as they are following me.

"I'm not too drunk." I say as I turn around to face them.

"Sure."

"Okay well if Corinna wants to listen to Billie then we all should." I say changing the topic.

"Or maybe you should listen to me and we can both head somewhere private." Jonah comments before sending me a wink.

Ugh, I want to barf so bad.

"-umm..." I begin to speak after a couple seconds of silence and looking at Matt which let's just say he is not taking it well.

"I prefer to watch Billie." I continue to speak before everything chuckles.

We all finally make it in front of the stage and Billie starts to perform.

"This is my favorite song!" Corinna yells after Billie starts playing a new song but how would I know?

Since I am always working and all so I don't really get to do a lot of things.

"Let's do a dancing competition." David yells to Jonah, Zane, and Heath.

"This will be entreating." Matt whispers in my ear.

This is the first interaction we have had today. I mean like talking not eyeing each other and all of that.

"Who do you think it's going to win?" I ask him back before I feel something touch my hand.

I look down at my hand to see Matt's hand. I quickly interview our hands together before looking back at him. I honestly could get used to his.

"It's a big crowed. I don't think anything is going to notice." I continue to whisper to Matt before we exchange smiles.

"Speaking about the question, all my money is on Zane." Matt whispers in my ear.

"I'll give it to Jonah. That's the only thing he is good at." I joke.

"But he is getting a metal for hitting on you." Matt says before I chuckle.

"I need more alcohol!" Heath yells out loud so we are able to hear him.

"I'll go get it." Natalie says after she looks between Matt and I before I let go of his hands.

"Don't worry, I think Matt and I got it." I explain to her before she nods.

"Wait what." Matt asks confuse before I chuckle.

"You're helping me get more alcohol." I explain to him before him.

"Plus a little alone time for us." I whisper in his ear before putting my hand on his lower stomach for a quick second so the others won't notice.

"Mhmm."

"Okay, lets go." I say before I grab the bags and head to backstage.
