Chapter 12

Charlie's P.O.V.

"Jeff!" I yell at him after he tells me what he did.

"It's fine... It's fine." I say trying to calm down as he looks sad.

"He probably won't notice." Jeff tries to reassure me before I look at him shook.

"Yeah, he would obviously not notice you like a comment on Twitter that we are together and now the fans are going crazy."

"It was an accident. I didn't mean to like the post." Jeff says trying to apologize before I nod.

"It's fine. I'll just talk to him about it."

"Don't, it's my fault. I'll talk to him." Jeff says before I nod once again.

"Well I'm going outside then, I think I might need more alcohol." I mention before walking towards the door.

"I'll go with you."

Jeff unlocks the door before we both make our way outside.

"Also Natalie has one more date with Evan but I think after that they are done." I say loud enough for Jeff to hear so he can cheer up after feeling bad for what he did to me.

"-Matt." I say as I walk outside to see everyone cheering on Corinna and Matt making out.

"I don't think Matt took it well." Jeff says sarcastically before I look at him.

"No shits Sherlock." I kind of yell at him before looking back at Matt and Corinna.

He really had to do me like that.

"I didn't know this was going to happen." Natalie says after she approaches me.

"Me either."

"I think I know what to do." Natalie whispers in my ear before I look at her confuse.

"What?"

"Call Niall and tell him to come over."

"I'm not going to do that."

"Why not?" Natalie asks me.

"Im just going to hang out with other friends tonight." I explain to her before I turn around and walk towards our room.

I change into something fashionable yet comfortable. I make my way back to the living room before grabbing my phone which Jeff has it. He took it just to look at posts that fans are posting about us.

I walk over to Jeff before grabbing my phone from him.

"You're leaving?" David asks me after he points his camera at me before making eye contact with Matt.

"Yeah."

"Where are you going?" Corinna asks me as I try to not roll my eyes at her or try to fight her.

"After-party." I respond to her question before Natalie cheers.

"Can I come?" Matt asks me before I look at him very intense.

"Uh.... sure."

"Let me go change." Matt says before he goes to his room and Corinna gives me the look.

Guess she isn't happy that I'm spending too much time with Matt but I'm also not happy that she is the one that gets to kiss Matt in front of everyone.

"Charlie!" Zane says as he comes to the living room from outside and brings me into a tight hug.

"Zane!" I say while giggling as he is definitely drunk.

"Let's do shots!" Zane tells me before I shake my head slightly.

"When I get back!" I tell him with a smile to not make him sad.

"Where you heading?" Zane asks me curiously as he just stands in front of me.

"I'm going to an after-party with a couple of close friends."

"Uhh close friends?" Zane asks before Matt appears back in the living room with some jeans and a nice shirt.

"Matt's going?" Zane continues to asks me before I nod my head.

"He's not a close friend that's your boyfriend." Zane says before I chuckle trying to play it cool because I wish but sadly he prefers to be kissing Corinna.

"Thats nasty." I say trying to play it off as David is filming all of this.

"She's not my type." Matt adds in before I nod.

"I don't know about that. You have admitted hundred of times that she is your celebrity crush." Zane comments before I turn red, like always?

"I'm ready to go." Matt says trying to avoid this conversation before I smile.

I hope he likes me more than just a celebrity crush and actually likes me for me.

"Let's go then. See you guys later."

Matt and I get in my car before we start our ride to where the after-party is taking place.

"So you and Corinna?" I ask him.

"We're just friends."

"Friends don't kiss like that." I tell him before he shakes his head.

"We kiss like that."

"So we're friends?" I ask him before I see him nod in the corner of my eyes.

Damn. He really doesn't have to do me like that. I mean I honestly think after tonight, we could have been something but I guess we're just friends.

Just friends.

I don't want to be just friends with him. I want to be more.

"Whatever you say." I say loud enough for him to hear.

The car ride... let's just say it was completely silent and awkward. I stopped the car in front of the car before getting out of the car and giving my guys to the valet guy.

"So who's party is it?" Matt asks me as we are walking together inside.

"I'm not sure but Harry invited me." I say answering his question as we make it inside to see a lot of A listers doing their own thing.

"Charlie!" I hear Harry Styles yells before he walks over to us.

"It's good to see you, Harry." I say before I bring him into hug as I see Matt standing there awkwardly.

"Have you seen Horan?" I ask Harry curiously before his eyes go wide open.

Natalie wanted me to bring Niall to make Matt jealous but it's smarter to bring Matt to the after-party so he can see me with Niall. I don't know, I just think it's a better plan. I also texted Niall and Harry to go along with the plan.
