Chapter 19

Charlie' P.O.V.

The get well soon party was fun and I wanted to drink so bad but I could not because of the pain killers I was on. Apart from that, it was extremely fun and I stayed with Natalie for our sleepover! Matt at first didn't want me to stay because he didn't know if I would be safe but I convince him that Natalie is trustworthy.

"You're awake." I hear someone say from behind me as I'm washing my hands in the kitchen sink.

"Oh yeah, I usually wake up early for set and all." I explain to David after turning around to face him.

"You're hungry I assume."

"Yes but you're fridge is kind of empty." I say explaining the situation.

"I'll order door dash or something. What do you want?"

"Whatever." I say after I take my phone out to look through work social media and messages.

"Why are you always looking at your phone?" David asks me as he takes his phone out to order food I assume.

"Work."

"Workaholic?"

"I wouldn't say that. All my life I wanted to be as I would say when I was younger 'to be inside the tv' because I didn't have to keep pretending-." I explain to David after I put my phone down.

"Pretending from what?"

"Promise you won't tell anyone."

"I promise."

"I wanted to be on tv because maybe my real parents would see me and want me back. Or just for them to tell me why I wasn't enough for me. Why they left me."

"Your real parents are the ones that raised you not the biological ones."

"Not to me."

"I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings but I'm here for you. Have you been able to reach to them through Hollywood or not yet?"

"Not yet but I've waited all these years, a couple of more wont hurt me."

"Does Matt know?"

"Nobody knows."

"I just lie. It's nothing new honestly since that's my job." I continue to explain to David before he nods.

"Let's go get food then instead of door dash. You deserve a dine out." David says before a smile appears on my face.

"I would appreciate it but I told Matt I wouldn't be going out alone with guys."

"Oh." He says as the smile on his face disappears and now I just feel bad.

"Just we're getting door dash then."

"And there comes work." I say after I look down at my phone.

"I have to go to a briefing." I tell David before he nods.

"Raincheck?"

"Raincheck."

"See bye to Natalie for me." I say as I rush to find my car keys.

Well the briefing with my agent and assistant manager was unexpected. Since the past 2 months, I haven't really done anything so they want me to get back on track with work. Since being young is the climax of your career since people just want to see attractive people on their screens now.

So first step was a couple of pop up stores in California, New York, Chicago, and Orlando for Kylie's and I's makeup collection. I've done California and Chicago the past week and this week is suppose to be New York and Orlando in like two weeks or three since I have to stay in New York for a while to do some press and all that and see friends.
