Chapter 10- Honeymoon and discussions
Tobias's POV
I kiss her lips, but compared to last time, she's now my wife. I take our bags and head toward the car.
- "Tell meeee...!" Tris wines like a four-year-old.
- "No," I say, not wanting to spoil where we were going for our honeymoon.
But... Tris didn't get the message that I wouldn't say a word so-
- "Is it at Candor? Abnegation?" she asked, I shook my head.
- "Not gonna say anything," I say smiling
- "Oh come on," she says pountinng and crossing her arms shut. I chuckled, she could be such a child sometimes...
When we get to Amity I take a little path on the side.
- "Ooooooh," Tris says looking at me, I laugh slightly at her reaction.
I park the car at this little hotel in the countryside of the Amity compound. She smiles and gets out of the car really quickly. I laugh as I get our two bags, then I put my arm around her waist. She puts her head on my shoulder.
We get to the reception, there are only a few rooms so we shouldn't be bothered too much if you know what I mean.
Can you honestly blame me? It's our honeymoon... We check in, get our room. I get in the room and I put the bags down. I open the windows and there's a whole view of Chicago, the countrysides with the amity farms, the erudite and candor buildings. It's nice.
- "I love it," Tris says she turns around.
- "I love you," I tell her, she smiled and blushes a little. Tris can still be very amity. I grab her by the waist and bring her closer to me, she wraps her legs around me. I put her down on the bed and kiss her neck.
This woman will be death to me.
Tris's POV
After our own little "welcome party". We get down to check out the hotel, Tobias puts an overprotective arm around with a 'she's mine, you look-you die' look. I turn to look at the expression he's showing. He is in his 'Four mode' which I hate seeing him in.
He feels me looking and he turns around and sees me staring, he smiles. We walk around and see that there's a pool, a bar, a spa, and all the things that a usual honeymoon hotel has.
We ended up ordering dinner on our big balcony. And then we decided that we could go in the swimming pool since no one would be there at this time. So then we were together, in the lighted pool, my body between his legs and his arms wrapped around me. And we talked and talked and then came to the subject of vows.
I cleared my throat trying to sound professional and he chuckled, kissing my neck a little.
- "Before I met you I was just some lonely, simple, abnegation that didn't fit in," I started "I came in Dauntless, scared for my life, not knowing if it was the right choice. Then I met you: the good old mysterious Four."
He laughed at my comment.
- "We were both lost. But then we found each other, maybe not in the best conditions but still, we found each other, and for me, that's all that matters. Because of you, I've become a strong, independent... married" I added with a laugh "I think my point is that because of you I'm the best I could be... What I'm trying to say is that I love you and I want to share everything with you"
- "I love you too," he says, he kisses me. "because you're yourself, you're selfless, so brave, kind, honest, smart, and incredibly sexy, even though that's not a faction..." I stress-laugh and turn into a bright red "I love it when you blush" which only makes me blush into a darker red "And you make me feel good about myself when I'm with you" he says.
How did I get such a perfect man in my life?
- "And I just love you so much, so much it literally hurts," he ended up saying.I just mouthed 'I love you so much too'. He smiled and kissed me. Then we got back in our comfortable position, his arm around me and my head on his chest.
The conversations continued for a while, we kissed a lot also...
After a while of silence I ask:
- "So... I was wondering you still want kids someday?" I ask
- "Yes, definitely" he answers, "Although I'd didn't get such a great role model... I wouldn't want to mess the kid up," he said.
- "How many?"
- "I mean I never had siblings, not that I wish for anyone to go through what I did but I'd definitely want at least three..." he says smiling "but I know that it's definitely more your choice than mine considering that you're the one pushing them out and having to hold them for nine months with all the symptoms that come with it"
- "I'll have as many as we want because honestly having some little Tobias and Tris around our apartment is such a nice thought in my head..." I said.
- "Of course it is..." he said.
I turned to look at him, he was smiling and looking straight into my eyes.
- "Tobias," I said, "I need to tell you something... and it's why I asked this question..." I said.
His smile faded away and he stared at me in shock. He understood what I meant. His eyes dropped to my stomach then back to my eyes. I smiled shyly and nodded.
He took me into a tight hug and then we kissed for a whole minute. His hand rested on my stomach then.
- "Since when?"
- "I've known since only about three days... Christina took the test with me," I admitted.
- "Why didn't you tell me? That you thought you were pregnant?" he said then smiled brightly. "Wow, pregnant. It sounds weird and exciting coming out of my mouth," he admitted.
"I agree... good thing is that we have more than 8 months to get used to the idea," I said smiling at him.
He smiled back.
"Oh don't worry... we'll get used to it."
