Chapter 12- Baby girl

Tris's POV

The bump has grown a lot over the three past months, I mean duh, I'm seven months pregnant after all. I looked like a whale and felt like a watermelon. Tobias worries way too much.

He bought a new apartment for us, inside there are five rooms. There's the "parent's room", three "children's room" and a guest room. We moved in there a few weeks ago, right after we passed the miscarriage average time and we're sure the baby was ok. We asked not to know about the gender of our red pepper.

Yep, that's what we have been calling it since the last appointment, she said it had the size of a"large red pepper". So the baby room is yellow and gray, which is really cute. Because I'm seven months pregnant I stopped working at the tattoo parlor, and Tobias finally accepted without hesitation that I stopped working and rested.

When Tobias comes back home, I'm already in bed, reading a book about baby names. Tobias kisses my lips and gets in his PJ's, which basically means no shirt and some shorts.

He laid down next to me and grabbed a book from our large baby books pile.

- "You know that our baby could die at any moment for no reason," my husband tells me after a long silence of me cuddling and him reading.

- "Stop stressing yourself out, it's gonna be fine, everything is gonna be ok," I reassure him. After putting the book down, he put one hand over my shoulders and the other one on my baby "bump."

Because yes, we can't call it to bump anymore... it's a mountain. We cuddle and enjoy our sweet time together.

But then we get a phone call, I sighed.

- "We can't have two minutes for us..." I say, annoyed. I take the phone and I hear Will on the other side.

- "Hey, can you come to the hospital... Christina wants you here" Will says really stressed and he then just hanged up.

Will's POV

I was coming back from work and I just opened the door to see my wife, panting, against the wall right next to the door, the birth-bag next to her. She's crying.

- "Arg, please Will help me, it's the baby I think it's co- Ahhhhhh," Chris said to me.

And suddenly I became aware that my daughter was coming, that in a few hours I was gonna be a father.

- "How long have you been here?" I ask her worried "Why didn't you call for help?"

- "I couldn't move, it hurt so mu- Ahhhhh... please help me," she said.

I took her bridal style, the bag in my hand and I walked I fast as I could. My daughter was coming.

When we get there the nurse tells me to put her in the wheelchair and asks:

- "Are you the father?"

- "Her husband, so yes," I tell her panicked from the fact that my wife was screaming in pain and that nobody was doing anything about it.

- "Let's go," she said. She helped Christina up the medical chair, removed her leggings, put hot towels under her and put her two feet up in the air while Christina was panting and crying so hard, she was in so much pain.

- "Come on Christina, push," the midwife said. She did.

And after a while of screaming, yelling, sweating, and pushing, I hear my baby girl. She cries and Christina exhales one last big time. She was so tired, we could see it, but then they gave us our daughter. Christina and I were amazed at her. She was beautiful, she had the same color skin as Christina.

- "Do you mind calling Tris?" Christina said after a while. Then the baby started crying again and we both stared at her like we didn't know what to do. Which we did.

I grabbed and phone and dialed Tris's number. She picked up after two rings.

- "Hey, can you come to the hospital... Christina wants you here" I said, then the nurse called me and I immediately hanged up.

Tris's POV

- "Oh my god, I think Christina just gave birth," I tell Tobias

- "What?"

- "I think Christina just gave birth," I tell him again.

- "Oh my god. Is she alright?" he asked

I rolled my eyes.

- "Tobias, she's not a china doll, she's good," I say, "Just like, I'm not a China doll..."

- "Of course you're not. You're much more precious," he said.

I smiled and leaned in for our lips to meet.

- "I think we should go, she wants me there," I say.

He nodded and helped me out of bed and helped me get a coat at least to go there.

After waddling to the hospital, because of my baby bump. We get to the hospital, my husband holding my hand while my other one was under my bump, protectively. We then to Chris's room.

There she is, her and Will are around this little new living being. Will does a sign to come in, we do. And there she is... their daughter, she is a real mix of the two.

- "Aw Chris, she's beautiful..." I tell her

- "Thanks," she says smiling

- "Have you already got the name?" asked Tobias

- "Ruein Jasmine Smith," she said to us.

- "She's beautiful," I say again.

I start tearing up, and Tobias massages sweetly run his hand up and down my back. Chris and Will smile at me.

- "Hormones... and also the fact that in two months we'll have the same," I say crying looking at my husband, he pulls me in his embrace (well as much as he can with the baby). Chris and Will look at their daughter with so much love.

I can't wait for it to be us at their spot.
