"What if the letters each represent a number? Then, A will be 1, B will be 2, and so on." Jisoo suggested after thinking hard for a while. And of course, suppressing that fit of laughter.
"What about letters like T? It represents 20, which is two digits!"
"We can perhaps keep adding the two digits up?"
Jin set to work, using his finger to write invisible letters and numbers on the floor. Soon he yelled, "666212571!"
They keyed in the number and the locker popped open. Jisoo clapped, thrilled that her method had worked. Jin mentally thanked his father for doing all those incredibly hard brain puzzles with him everyday before he went to sleep.
Inside was a piece of paper. Jin picked it up. It read:
"I am cold but I don't need a blanket.
I can come as a bar but I am not soap.
What am i?"
Jin looked at the diary entry. And back at the paper. "Ice cream!" He yelled.
Jisoo laughed. "Smart Jin."
Pink tainted Jin's cheeks.

All this while, some time ago
"Come on Tae, let's try to get home before the sun sets." Jimin said, looking at Taehyung who was staring weirdly at his phone.
His phone's battery went flat. The screen wasn't working either.
"Don't worry, I have a charger at my home. Come on," Jimin grabbed his wrist and pulled him from the basketball court where they had been spending their afternoon. Jungkook was way ahead and was carrying Taehyung's bag on top of his own.
"I can't wait for the sleepover!" Jungkook enthused, flashing his bunny teeth. Taehyung forced a smile, although he felt somehow that uncanny things were happening.
Soon, they had boarded the bus and reached Jimin's home.
"Hello everyone!" A small girl opened the door and welcomed them in. Jimin ruffled Rosé's hair and introduced them to his family.
Soon, they were eating a late dinner. Taehyung stared at his plate of fried chicken, his thoughts all about Jisoo. He hesitantly bit into a wing, and chewed slowly, making crunching noises.
"Tae and Kookie, you'll be staying in the guest room here, and I'll be joining you in a while." Jimin showed them to a small but cozy room, with three beds lined up side by side.
"I BAG THE ONE NEAREST TO THE WINDOW!" Jungkook yelled, rushing in and cannonballing himself onto the soft mattress. Taehyung smiled at his funny friend and placed his belongings on the middle bed. Jimin soon joined them, lying on the bed nearest the door and propping his chin on his hands, waiting for his guests to finish showering.
Tae came out of the bathroom, dressed, and Jungkook went in, humming some tune.
"Anything wrong?" Jimin asked, worried that Taehyung seemed preoccupied this whole afternoon and evening.
"Just worried about my sister. I didn't tell her about my sleepover here." the aforementioned mumbled in reply, drying his wet hair with a towel.
"She's okay, isn't she? I'm sure your mother will tell her, or your maid."
Taehyung just nodded. "My phone?"
"I'm sorry Tae, I can't seem to charge it. Maybe it was damaged?" Jimin showed Taehyung his still-black screen of his phone.
