Three days later, Jin was held up by crutches, smiling and ready to leave the hospital.

"Seokjin, do be careful with those crutches. I hope you can manage them. Should you need any help, please do not hesitate to inform us." Dr Youngjae bowed politely and bid the small boy farewell.

"Thank you Doctor Youngjae!" Jin cheerfully replied.

After Namjoon and Jin had left his ward, Jin raised the question Namjoon had been hoping he hadn't asked.

"Daddy, where is Jisoo?"

Namjoon had tried to avoid the topic the past few days, and was successful because Jin was feeling drowsy most of the time. Today, however, the boy was energised and better than before.

"She... is still hospitalised, darling." Namjoon replied, not wanting to continue this conversation.

"Can I visit her? Please daddy?" Jin begged, looking up at Namjoon with his dark brown eyes. While doing this, he accidentally fumbled and nearly tripped over his own crutches, if Namjoon had not caught him in time.

"Ah... okay then..." The father replied after pondering for a while. He used one hand to support Jin while his other took out his phone to send Jennie a text.

Namjoon

Jin would like to visit Jisoo for a while. Is it okay with you?

Jennie

Sure, I'm in her room right now.

Her room is on the fifth level. One level down, darling," Namjoon added, helping his son into the lift then pressing the button.

"Thank you Daddy!" Jin smiled, and Namjoon's heart was melting. Because his son rarely smiled before he was officially discharged.

Jisoo was in her room, sighing. Staying in bed for such a long time wasn't very comfortable at all, and she could hardly take walks around her room because her wound would hurt after a while. She had broken ribs and her lung was barely saved, according to the doctor. Her heart had stopped halfway but thankfully it began beating after a while. She was itching to get well and get going.

For the past few days, she had been exploring her room. It was huge and furnished, with a small living room for visitors beside her bed. There laid a comfortable sofa and a black and white carpet under the wooden coffee table. There was a sparkling clean mirror opposite her bed, with a golden frame. Jennie and Taehyung were currently sitting at the sofa, Taehyung asleep while Jennie checking her messages.

Since she was hospitalised, Taehyung had been visiting her every single day. He would gently place a kiss on her forehead, wishing her a speedy recovery. And brought her her favourite fried chicken to eat. She loved him as a big brother and would never trade him for anyone else. Ms Yoon came to check on her too, but right now she had gone home to tend to Yeontan, who had gone home. Jimin and Jungkook had visited her regularly too. Jungkook liked making jokes and playing card games to cheer her up, while Jimin bought her a bouquet of flowers to decorate her room. And snacks to eat. Such sweet hyungs she had, she thought, just as her mother called, "Soo, you have a visitor."

Jisoo frowned, wondering who it could be. Jimin? Jungkook?

Two knocks sounded on the door. Jennie smiled and walked up to the door, opening it to reveal a handsome boy and his smart father.

"Jisoo! Are you okay?" Jin blurted out, rushing towards her, almost forgetting he was on crutches.

"Slow down, Jin," Jisoo giggled, sitting up and giving Jin a hug. "Hello Namjoon ahjussi," she released Jin and greeted politely, bowing a bit to Jin's father. He had dimples and his smile was contagious.

"Glad that you are recovering well, Jisoo." He replied in an equally polite manner. The two adults in the room began chatting with each other on the sofa, while Taehyung stirred from his sleep and stretched, then greeted the visitors politely.

"Taehyung hyung!" Taehyung helped Jin sit on the couch then hugged the boy.

"How's your foot?" Taehyung asked.

"Better! And I can go to school in a few days time! When can Jisoo go to school?"

"She... she might need to stay here for quite a long while." Jin's face fell.

"I hope her bruises go away. It looks painful." Jin said, looking at Jisoo who had dozed off. He felt so useless. But he didn't know Jisoo's heart had stopped halfway during the surgery and no one had the heart to tell him that.

Not long after, Jin had to go home.

"Goodbye Jisoo." Namjoon bid his farewells and stepped out of the room first.

"Bye bye Jisoo." Jin whispered, gazing at the sleeping beauty. She didn't stir. He placed his arm around her, his cheek coincidentally touching hers. "Sleep well." And he quickly went out of the room without turning back, afraid that Jisoo would suddenly wake up and see him blushing furiously.

Of course, that act had not gone unnoticed. Jennie and Taehyung were gawking and making lenny faces at the sight even after Jin had left.

Jisoo turned in her sleep, facing away from Jennie and Taehyung. She silently raised her hand to touch her cheek. In her dream, she had fuzzy memories of an orange haired man and a black hair man. They seemed fuzzy, but she knew they had done something good. Then she dreamt about Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook were singing a song they absolutely loved: Mikrokosmos.

You got me

난 너를 보며 꿈을 꿔 (I dream to see you)

I got you

칠흑 같던 밤들 속 (In the dark nights)

서로가 본 서로의 빛 (Each other's light)

같은 말을 하고 있었던 거야 우린 (I was saying the same thing)

가장 깊은 밤에 더 빛나는 별빛 [oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh] (Shining starlight at the deepest night [oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh] )

가장 깊은 밤에 더 빛나는 별빛 [oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh] (Shining starlight at the deepest night [oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh] )

밤이 깊을수록 더 빛나는 별빛 (The deeper the night, the more shining starlight)

Her own lips curved into a heart-shaped smile.
