Reyna Harusame 春雨 レイナ

"You passed the audition, but do you have what it takes to be an actress?"

I couldn't stop thinking about what Shibagaki Gin had asked me yesterday. Do I have what it takes to be an actress? What did he mean by that?

"Reyna-chan!" Yana called out, waving her hand in front of my eyes. "Are you going to eat your lunch?"

I snapped out of my thoughts, realising that I was currently having lunch with my friends.

"Yeah, sorry," I apologised and took a bite out of my lunch.

"You're an actress now," Syurina remarked, before lifting her cup of matcha. "Isn't that amazing?"

I nodded. "I guess. But do I have what it takes to be an actress?"

Yana sipped her peach tea. "Of course, Reyna-chan! You passed the audition!"

"Everyone congratulated you too!" Kiyoko added with a smile. "You'll be fine!"

I sighed. I guess my friends are right.

"I was just wondering," I told them. "Gin asked me the same thing."

Kiyoko placed her arm around me. "Onii-chan has high standards. You're definitely going to be a great actress!"

"If you ever encounter problems with Shibagaki Gin, you can always tell us," Syurina assured. Yana nodded in agreement.

"Onii-chan can be an oni sometimes," Kiyoko pointed out. "But that's okay! Kiyoko-chan is here to support you! Support! Support!"

I smiled and continued eating.

"I'm here," I said when I arrived at Seiza Studios. Ashikawa-san waved when he saw me.

"Harusame! You're here!"

I nodded. "Yes, I am. May I ask what I'm supposed to do now?"

"Of course!" Ashikawa-san replied warmly. "Shibagaki is in the dressing room studying. Because of his busy schedule as an actor, he learns his lessons by homeschool."

"I see," I said. I wonder if Shibagaki-san has any friends.

Ashikawa-san brought me into the dressing room where Shibagaki was studying. He seemed disturbed when he saw me.

"Is that English you're studying, Shibagaki?" Ashikawa-san asked. "Harusame can speak English fluently, too. You're from America, aren't you, Harusame?"

I nodded shyly. It's been a month since I moved to Japan and started my Aikatsu.

Shibagaki eyed me coldly. He's barely like Kiyoko. Sure, they have the same eyes, but they're polar opposites. Kiyoko is warm, outgoing and noisy while Gin is aloof, asocial and quiet.

"So you can speak English, huh?" Gin asked in English.

"Yes, of course," I replied.

"Good for you, Vermicelli."

"Vermicelli?" I asked in confusion.

"You're Harusame, aren't you?" Shibagaki questioned. "Harusame is a kind of dish that consists of Harusame noodles. Has anybody told you that before?"

I shook my head. I've never heard of that before. Maybe I should ask Mom to cook that for me one day.

"We'll begin filming in a few minutes," Ashikawa-san told us. "In the meantime, I'd like you to warm-up yourselves."
