Reyna Harusame 春雨 レイナ

"Thank you everyone!" I told the audience after a Natura performance.

The crowd cheered. When Yana, Syurina and I went backstage, we packed our things.

"That was a great performance, wasn't it?" I told my friends cheerfully.

"That was!" Yana agreed. "And you seem energetic today, Reyna-chan."

I grinned. "This week's been going pretty well. Our Natura live was a blast. Then I got to participate in Yana's Princess of Flowers show."

Yana and Syurina smiled at each other. Then the latter asked, "Is there anything else, Reyna-chan? Like a certain someone?"

I felt my face burn. She's not wrong.

"Well, I've been spending lots of time with Gin lately. I wonder why..."

Yana smirked. "Who knows, Reyna-chan? Just be careful of scandals."

I nodded. Romance is forbidden among idols. Besides, I bet a lot of girls have a crush on Gin. They'll get mad at me for being with him, will they?

I checked the time on my phone. It's almost time to head to work.

"Well, I'll be going now," I told my friends.

"Take care, Reyna-chan," Yana said. "Say hello to Gin for me!"

I smiled as I waved to my friends.

Seiza Studios. My ridiculous workplace. It has some really mean people, but it also has Gin. Plus, being an actress is wonderful.

It would probably be better if the staff members were less annoying. But without that urge of perfection, I wouldn't be as efficient as I am now.

I wonder what today will bring me. I scanned my lines for the upcoming scenes.

When I arrived, I saw people gathering party supplies. One of the staff members waved at me.

"Harusame!" he greeted. "The party's in the dance studio!"

"Party?" I asked in confusion. "I-I never expected a party for a studio like ours."

I walked into the dance studio. It was filled with people and food. What are people celebrating here?

Well, I guess it's time to lighten up a bit.

There was a banner that said farewell. The food mainly consisted of takoyaki and cinnamon rolls. Most of the decorations were silver-coloured.

Wait, what's the meaning of this?

Something told me that this party was sugarcoated.

Why is everyone happy while I'm not? Why am I suddenly feeling uneasy?

"Hey, Harusame," someone called. It was Ito-san.

  "What's going on?" I questioned.

"Oh, this is just a farewell party to Shibagaki," Ito explained.

  I flinched. "Farewell?"

"He didn't tell you?" Ito asked. "I thought he was your best friend or something."

I shook my head. Gin was leaving? That's not happening, right?

  "Shibagaki!" people exclaimed in unison.

I turned and saw Gin enter the room. He was just as confused as I was.

"Is this for me?" he asked blankly.
