S1 E46: The New Idol Life

Hatsuko Kosaka 小坂 はつこ

"Today, we'll be having the current top idol with us," the host of AKTV said energetically. "Let's welcome Kosaka Hatsuko!"

"Thank you for having me," I remarked as I was seated.

  "Congratulations on your victory in the Top Stars Cup and in the Aikatsu Ranking!" the host told me. "That was impressive, earning the top positions in both areas in one day!"

  I smiled shyly. "Thank you. However, it didn't just take me one day to get there. I spent hours every day training for each of my performances."

  The host beamed. Then she remarked, "I guess you're right! By the way, regarding Akizora Ayame's condition, what measures have you taken for Capella's fate?"

  I thought of that question. It never occurred to me before.

  "We haven't exactly planned anything," I answered sternly. "But chances are, Capella may disband. I have to talk about that with Ayame first."

  "The disbandment of Capella?" the host asked in concern.

Yana Aikyou 愛敬 矢那

"Ehhhh?! Capella's disbanding?!" I exclaimed in shock as we watched Hatsuko-senpai's interview.

  "She said she has to talk about it with Ayame-senpai..." Reyna said calmly, squeezing her phone. "Nonetheless, that's bound to happen due to her health anyway..."

  My friends and I sighed. Capella had been an inspiration to all of us. Ayame and Hatsuko were such amazing senpais to be with.

  And to know that Capella has to disband...

  "It's sad to know that the people you admire are going to leave soon..." I spoke, lowering my head.

  "That's true," Syurina sighed. "Every little time spent with someone is worth cherishing."

  Sayako and Kiyoko nodded. Reyna's face turned red.

  "They leave when you least expect it..." Reyna added. "So while Ayame-senpai is still around, we should do something to thank her and Hatsuko-senpai."

  "That's a great idea, Reyna-chan!" Kiyoko agreed. "What should we do?"

  "Maybe we can make something for them," Sayako suggested. "I personally like those memo boxes Reyna made for us on Christmas."

  Syurina and Reyna beamed. Then the former said, "Maybe I can make them bracelets like ours."

  "I'm glad you like the memo box, Sayako," Reyna spoke gratefully. "Then I guess Yana can paint some watercolour paintings if she doesn't mind."

  "Nice!" I chimed. "Surely they'll love this idea!"

  My friends smiled at one another.

Ayame Akizora 秋空 菖蒲

I'm no longer the Top Star or top idol. But that's okay.

  All these memories of being the top idol will forever have a place in my heart. Performing in front of my fans and making them smile with all of my efforts was a dream come true.

  Most importantly, I was able to connect more with other people and make new friends. And of course, spending time with Hatsuko. That's unforgettable.

  I gazed at all of my mementoes I left in the Top Stars dorm. I'll no longer be staying here.
