Ayame Akizora 秋空 菖蒲

"I'm back!" I said as I got home with my mother after ballet practice.

"You're back much earlier than I expected," Father spoke. "But that's alright because dinner's ready!"

My stomach rumbled. I could smell the food from the kitchen.

Father was one of the best cooks I've ever met. I smiled the moment I tasted his curry.

  "Yum!" I exclaimed.

My parents glanced at each other and beamed. Then Father said, "I'm glad you like it, Ayame."

"I like whatever you cook," I told him in reassurance.

"Oh right, it's time for the news," Mother stated, turning the television on. Instead of the news, there was a music video playing.

"Isn't that Himari Ichika?" Father asked as he turned to the screen.

Mother nodded. "That's her alright. The one they called the 'Silver Screen Sensation'. Though she retired a long time ago, didn't she?"

  "Who's Himari Ichika?" I wondered.

"She used to be an idol in our time," Father explained. "Everyone admired her for wonderful ability in performing, especially acting. But just as your mother said, Himari retired a long time ago, even before you were born."

"I see," I spoke. I watched Himari sing and dance. She was a beautiful woman.

Once I was done eating, I rushed to my room. The thought of Himari Ichika was swimming in my head.

Searching her up on my computer, I found many images and videos of Himari. I listened to one of her songs. Coincidentally, it so happened to be the song I heard on TV a few minutes ago.

Song: White Pieces by Sunao Yoshikawa

  "Himari Ichika-san..." I started. "Amazing!"

Since then, my life has changed. I've exposed myself more to the entertainment industry.

Of course, my favourite idol and actress was Himari-san. If only I could see her perform live.

It's been three years since I became Himari Ichika's fan, and I'm still longing to see her perform live.

I lied in bed, listening to her song from my computer. I wonder where she was at the moment.

My notebook was right next to my computer. It was filled with information about my idol. I began reading it.

"Himari Ichika is a former top idol. She was also known as the 'Silver Screen Sensation' due to her exceptional acting abilities. On 25th October 2000, Himari vanished from her career."

Why did she just leave?

I glanced at a picture of her. Her silver hair was shining and her eyes glimmered like rubies. As her song played, her voice gave off a sense of passion.
