Yana Aikyou 愛敬 矢那

What a beautiful day!

The Middle School Showdown's out of the way. And I'm the top of the third year section. I never thought I'd get there.

Well, that aside, my friends and I were jogging together after school.

  "Aikatsu! Aikatsu! Aikatsu!"

Suddenly, one of my friends' phones began vibrating. Reyna took her phone out to check it.

"Looks like I should be heading to work now," she said.

"That's right," Sayako added. "I have to go to my figure skating class."

"I have modelling today," Syurina remembered. "I better get ready."

I glanced at Kiyoko to see whether she was also going to leave. Then she energetically said, "Yep, there's advertising today! Gotta promote that plush toy!"

"Looks like all of you are busy," I told them. "I'll continue jogging on my own. Take care, minna!"

My friends and I waved to each other before eventually separating ways. After a few minutes of jogging, I took a break on a bench.

Looks like I'm on my own again.

My friends all have their own paths. Reyna is an actress. Syurina models for her favourite brand. Kiyoko advertises whatever she has to. And Sayako is the top figure skating idol in Japan, earning the nickname, "The Spectacle of the Ice Stage".

Meanwhile, what do I do?

I've always wondered why I never tried to find something to put my focus on. I do have live concerts from time to time, but is there more I can do? So much for being the top of the third year section.

Sighing, I made my way back to my dorm. Perhaps watercolour painting will cheer me up a bit.

"Time to go!" I told myself.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated. Headmistress Misaki wanted to see me. I wonder why.

—————

"I'm coming in," I said once I entered the headmistress' office.

Headmistress Misaki smiled. "It's nice to see you today, Aikyou. Well done again on your victory during the Middle School Showdown."

  "Thank you," I bowed.

"Because of your victory, you were requested to participate in a new television programme known as 'Princess of Flowers'," the headmistress informed. "Would you like to participate in it?"

I nodded. "Sure. I'd like to discover my Aikatsu path. Perhaps this can help me."

Headmistress Misaki beamed. "That's great to hear, Aikyou. Here's some information about the programme."

"Thank you again," I said as I was handed a sheet of paper.

When I left the office, I jumped joyfully. I wonder what this programme will be about.

"In order to motivate more people to invest in gardening, 'Princess of Flowers' is an upcoming television series that features the process of growing flowers, as well as the enjoyable moments of it," I read aloud.

Interesting. I've never expected to be part of a gardening programme.

I opened my sketchbook which was filled with watercolour paintings. The majority of those paintings were flowers.

I guess flowers had always been an inspiration for my work.

Smiling, I began painting my ideal flower garden in my sketchbook.
