S1 E17: Fall in the Summer

Syurina Tanaka 田中 珠里奈

"Thank you for your hard work!" I told everyone working in the modelling industry for Hanairo Asia.

I walked up to Hanamori-san who was smiling at me. "Amazing work like always, Tanaka! You never fail to impress me."

"Thank you very much, Hanamori-san!" I thanked.

Hanamori-san gave me a copy of the latest Aikatsu! Style magazine. "Please have one. You can give it to Aikyou if you like."

"I will!"

  When I got back to Pearl Star Academy, I kept glancing at the magazine. I've come a long way to my current idol status. I better train harder if I want to get to Capella's current level.

  "Are you feeling alright, Ayame?" I heard a familiar voice say while I was walking back to the dorm.

  "Akizora-senpai? Kosaka-senpai?" I spoke.

  Hatsuko placed her arm around Ayame to support her. I walked up to them to see if they needed help.

  "Good evening, Tanaka Syurina-chan," Ayame greeted. "Don't worry about me. I'm just exhausted and I want to sleep."

  Kosaka looked at me and said, "You better get some rest, Tanaka. I'll manage."

  I nodded in concern. "Alright then. Good night."

When I got to the dorm, I decided to pass by Yana and Reyna's room. As I knocked on the door, there was no reply.

  "Looks like nobody's here," I said to myself.

"Syuri-chan!"

I turned and saw Yana and Reyna. The latter looked worn out, probably because of her demanding schedule.

"You're back!" I told them with a grin. "By the way, this is for you, Yana-chan!"

Yana gratefully took the magazine. "My collection is growing!"

When the three of us got inside the room, Reyna immediately collapsed onto her bed.

"You're just as pale as Ayame-senpai, Reyna-chan," I noted.

"When isn't Akizora-senpai pale?" she asked tiredly. "Also, don't you think that she acts rather strange sometimes?"

Yana and I looked at each other. What did Reyna mean by "strange"?

"Maybe she's just exhausted from work," Yana suggested. "After all, she's Japan's top idol."

"Well, of course she is, but don't you think that Akizora—"

"Knock knock! Guess who's here!" a voice from behind the door spoke.

I opened the door and Kiyoko entered the room energetically.

"How are you so energetic at this time, Kiyoko?" Reyna asked, still lying down. "I'm drained!"

Kiyoko grinned boldly. "I'm always full of energy when I'm happy! Today, I was able to chat with Sayako-tan for five minutes! I miss her so much!"

Yana beamed. "Cool, Kiyoko-chan! Today, I finished my watercolour painting of the cherry blossom trees. Would you like to see it?"

Kiyoko and I nodded. Yana opened her sketchbook and presented her painting.

"Pretty!" I remarked. "You're truly fantastic!"

"Thanks, Syurina-chan!" Yana chuckled.

I decided that it was my turn to talk about my day. "I went to work like I usually do, but I enjoyed myself. Hanamori-san gave me the latest issue of Aikatsu! Style and I gave it to Yana-chan. What about you, Reyna-chan?"
