S1 E36: Splash! Our Unit!

I wonder how long it has been since Pleiades Shower ☆ has disbanded. And when was the last time I performed with Syurina-chan as Kiniro☆Nadeshiko?

  Units are fun. I wish that I could have that Pleiades Shower ☆ tour again. But unfortunately, happy moments don't last forever.

  During recess, Sayako-tan and I strolled around the school.

"I miss Pleiades Shower ☆!" I groaned.

"You've been saying that for like I don't know how many weeks now," Sayako sighed. "And you know you're not the only one who misses it."

I pouted. I wonder how Ayame-senpai and Hatsuko-senpai are doing.

The moment Sayako and I planned to walk back to the school building, a voice was calling for us.

"Kiyoko! Sayako!"

"Hatsuko-senpai!" I spoke excitedly. "It's been so long since we saw each other!"

I couldn't help but wrap my arms around Hatsuko. It's been a while since I last hugged her.

"It really has," Hatsuko agreed. "And I really miss all of you."

Sayako and I glanced at each other and smiled. Then she asked, "How's Ayame-senpai, Hatsuko-senpai? Just wondering."

Hatsuko's smile faded. She didn't say anything for a while.

"Ayame's been having more checkups lately," Hatsuko replied in concern. "I think she's getting seizures again."

Sayako and I became saddened by hearing that. I hope Ayame will get better soon.

"Don't you miss Ayame-senpai, Hatsuko-senpai?" I asked. "Because I definitely do."

Hatsuko nodded. "Of course. I wish I could spend more time with her. If I could give any advice to you two, it's to cherish the time spent with others because that time may never come again."

  I sighed. Hatsuko was right. She didn't get to spend much time with her best friend. And meanwhile, I was complaining about a temporary unit that has already disbanded.

  "I miss Capella as well," Hatsuko admitted. "If only the two of us could continue our unit activities."

  Then, an idea came to my mind. "Hatsuko-senpai, why did you and Ayame-senpai decide on forming a unit?"

  Hatsuko seemed rather curious about my question. "We actually planned to go to Pearl Star Academy together. Ayame loved dancing and singing was my strong point. The two of us were passionate in what we could do, and by Aikatsu, we were able to showcase our talents and inspire others."

  "You really did!" Sayako acknowledged.

Hatsuko's smile reappeared. "I'm glad. Oh, I should head to my piano recital right now. Sorry to end the conversation here."

"No problem, Hatsuko-senpai!" I told her cheerfully. "Thanks!"

"Good luck!" Sayako added.

When the two of us got back to the school building, the bell rang. It was time for class.

Sayako stretched her arms. "I'm grateful that we could talk to Hatsuko-senpai today."

I nodded as we walked back to class. "Me too! And you know what, Hatsuko-senpai has motivated me to form another unit!"

Sayako blinked. "Who are you going to be in a unit with?"

I grinned. "You, of course!"

  Sayako's face reddened. Before she could say anything, Dahlia-sensei, our English teacher, entered the classroom.
