Reyna Harusame 春雨 レイナ

"Ai-katsu! Ai-katsu! Ai-OUCH!"

I was busy training for a Special Appeal, but for some reason, I kept landing on the trampoline the moment I attempted to do the appeal.

"You better work on that Special Appeal of yours soon, Harusame-dearie," Dahlia-sensei remarked as I got up from the ground.

I wiped my sweat from my face. "I'll do it as soon as I can, sensei."

Dahlia-sensei nodded and told me to rest before she left for some important business.

I sat down for about five minutes. Why is doing a Special Appeal so much harder than it seems?

"Reyna-chan? Are you here?" asked a voice from the gym door.

Looking up, I saw Yana and Syurina who had just finished running for fifteen minutes straight.

"This Special Appeal thing is hard!" I told them, lying on the floor.

"It gets easier when you get the hang of it," Syurina stated. "You just need to time your appeal correctly."

Yana hopped on the trampoline and began jumping.

  "One! Two! Three!"

At "three", Yana posed in the air with her hands in the shape of a heart. Once she was done, she got off.

"That's a Cute Appeal!" The pink-haired explained. "Maybe you can try it!"

  "I'm a cool-typed idol though..." I muttered. But I could always try.

I went back on the trampoline and jumped, attempting to do what Yana just showed me.

  "One! Two! Cute Appeal-OUCH!"

Once again, I landed on my back on the trampoline. That was probably the seventh time now. I looked at my friends who looked concerned.

"You were a bit too late there, Reyna-chan," said Syurina.

I sighed and got off the trampoline. My body was sore and my legs were shaking. It's best to rest for the night.

As the three of us walked towards the dorm building, Yana said, "Don't worry too much about it, Reyna-chan. I couldn't do a Special Appeal before either. But I just continued to put lots of effort into my Aikatsu. By the way, have you seen the latest Summer Tropics advertisement?"

  "Summer Tropics?" I asked.

"It's a pop-type brand that focuses on summer themes," Syurina explained. "Although it's an Aikatsu brand, Summer Tropics also promotes ice cream and drinks."

"Do I have to check it out?"

"It'd be great if you keep yourself updated with the latest Aikatsu news," Yana suggested.

Reluctantly, I decided to watch the advertisement on Yana's phone.

"Enjoy every bit of summer, even in spring!" the girl in the commercial said cheerfully. "Summer Tropics Lemonade, the Sunlight of Spring!"

When the video clip was over, I asked Yana, "Why did you want to watch this anyway? It's alright, but is there any other reason?"

Yana grinned. "Honestly, I'm a fan of Shibagaki Kiyoko, the girl in the advertisement. She's always so happy and energetic."

"Kiyoko-chan is one of the top students here in Pearl Star," Syurina added with slight discomfort in her voice. "She used to be in the acting industry with her older brother before deciding to become an idol."
