I sat down on the roof with my dad and uncle slendy. His permanant smile cut into him was enhanced even more by his own smile. I couldn't tell uncle Slendy's expression, as he was faceless. I almost started laughing at the thought of how crazy it was that the three of us are actually all up here together on a roof with our paper white skin.

"Hey Jared!" My dad patted me on the back. "Hows it going? Have you been "waking up" lately?"

"No, I don't think so. But guess what!"

        "What?"

"You don't have anything against eyeless Jack do you?" I asked. He bust out laughing for three minutes strait in response.

"EJ! We were so close! He was my best friend before and a while after I met your mom. He was support when you left. He's not so different. He was in love to once, but Mindy left him when she found out the truth."

        "He has a son too."

"Oh yeah! How old is he now?"

"He's my age. His mom and step dad Tim just moved them all here. So far we've already hit it off and we both already know who each other's fathers are. We're friends already!"

"That's great! You should bring him up here sometime! EJ will be so happy to find out where his son is!"

"Well I don't want him to get taken away so can you maybe keep it secret a little more? Please?"

"Alright. I'll teach him how to keep ot better secret. No problem! So is anything else new?"

        "No, I don't think so."

"Alright. Why don't I teach you a little more about our family then." He said sitting next to me on the roof. He turned to me super seriously and half smiled.

"Ya know," he started in a serious voice,"Your mother actually did love me befor. She called me Jeffrey, I never let anyone else call me that. I still love her too! Everytime I see the glint in your eyes it reminds me of the same one I see in hers. I see her in you. Half of her is here when I see you, or so it feels like. I only wish I could see her again. I always looked normal for her, and I was good at faking it too, until Jane came along. You might hear stories that we're inlove but reall, she just wanted me, I wanted nothing to do with her. I was trying to change for your mom and she came along and tried to pressure me to do more bad things that I didn't want to do. She made me stay out too late one time. Too late. I came home looking like my demonic self, which was the side of me that she hadn't seen. The one I was trying to get rid of for her. She figured out exactly who I was and left. She kicked me out of the small apartment we were staying in and grabbed some bags of stuff. I didn't get back in until morning but she was already gone."

        "Wow, dad, I'm so sorry."

"It still hurts. I'm still willing to change for her, but every time she finds out that I'm around she leaves so I can't find her again. I'm always in a constant chase to find my one true love."

"I wish mom would get back together with you. Or at least talk to you. Her boyfriend Adam is a jerk. He just wants to get rid of me. She's out on a date with him right now and probably wont be back until about eleven or eleven thirty...wakt what time is it?!"

"Eleven fifteen." Uncle Slendy told me.

"Thanks, I've gotta go, mom will be home soon and I can't risk her knowing that we see each other!' I went over and got myself ready to climb down the blanket rope that got me up here. Uncle Slendy threw the looped end down once I went back into my window. I untied it and spread it back out on my bed. Mom should really give dad another chance, but only if there was a simple way I could tell her...
