Not a chance

While playing in the park,
Some kid walked up to me and said:
"I betcha I can beat you in a race,
I betcha I'll be ahead."
Staring at the kid in front of me,
Standing in a straight stance,
Before leaving him behind I said:
"You ain't stand a chance."
While walking away he followed me,
I turned around once again,
He said "me and you, let's have a race."
Surprised, I said "when?"
"Now. Let's do it, I wanna see your skill."
I had no choice but to agree with this boy,
He took me by my will.
Standing side by side,
I took one last glance,
He smirked at me, and smiled,
Then said:
"You ain't stand a chance."
