Drifting out to sea

The tide's dragging you out,
While I'm still floating out to sea,
All I see is your hand above the water,
And soon your hand is on me.
You push down,
And I lose air,
You use me like a lifeguard,
As if my body is not there.
I see my life flash before my eyes,
But you're still struggling to stay afloat,
Using me as your weight,
And my shoulders as a boat.
Please stop,
Can't you see I'm drowning?
No stop laughing,
Laughing at me frowning.
I've begun to sink,
I can't carry us two,
Everything goes blank,
Then I feel my body move.
I wake up,
To see a puddle behind my back,
Sweat trickles down my face,
And everything goes black.
