Attention

Listen to me,

Quit blabbering aloud,

Hear me speak to you,

I'm standing tall and proud.

Don't act like I'm not here,

Because I know you see me there,

You just choose to ignore me,

But in my eyes, you stare.

Listen to my words of wisdom,

Take a note or two,

You might not know some things I know,

But there's plenty of things that you do.

Take notice of my presence,

Respect my authority to speak,

Don't just stand there,

And waste my time,

It's making my ego weak.

Please just give me silence,

All this talk is giving me tension,

I only ask you once this time,

To give me all of your attention.
