Chapter 5: I Can Never Tell You How I Really Feel

We sat on my bed thinking of what to do.
Azaria: "Ooooo! I have an idea!"
I jumped in my seat.
Colby: "Ok what is it?"
He laughed.
Azaria: "Lets post mate Taco Bell and then go to Santa Monica! We can go on the beach and take pictures!"
Colby: "Alright."
He postmated Taco Bell.  It arrived and we ate on the couch.
Azaria: "Here try this"
I gave him a sip of my freeze.
Colby: "mmm that's good"
Azaria: "I know right!"
We finished eating and got ready to go to Santa Monica. I put my swimsuit on under what I was wearing.

I also grabbed a pair of ripped jeans to put on after the beach. I walked out to Colby on his phone.
Colby: "Ready?"
Azaria: "Yep! Let's go"
Colby: "Hey um I was thinking about inviting my friends and their girlfriends to come with... it could be a big group date! unless you don't want to..."
Azaria: "No I do! Go ahead and invite them!"
I smiled at him and we continued to walk to his car. He texted his friends.
Colby: "Ok so Sam and his girlfriend Kat are coming, so are Jake and his Girlfriend, and Xepher and Griffin. Devyn, Arya, Mike, and Kevin are also coming and you'll meet everyone don't worry. Oh and Devyn and Corey used to date."
I nodded and took in all the information. We drove to his apartment and he changed. We headed to the beach. Sam and his girlfriend came to the beach but everyone else would join us later.
Sam's girlfriend: "Hi I'm Kat!"
Azaria: "I'm Azaria it's nice to meet you!"
Kat: "You too! Finally Colby has a girlfriend"
I giggled and Colby looked over and smiled at me. Sam and him were carrying everything to the beach. Kat and I laughed and walked a little ways behind them. He helped them set up and the boys ran to the beach. Kat and I got in our swimsuits and laid in the sun. We talked more and got to know each other.
Kat: "So Sam told me how you guys aren't really together but I think you guys look good together"
Azaria: "He told you?"
She nodded s
Azaria: "Just don't tell anyone else it's a secret"
Kat: "Of course!"
Colby came running over.
Colby: "Come swim with me!"
He was already wet.
Azaria: "Fine!"
Sam sat by Kat and Colby helped me up. He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. He ran into the water and put me down.
Azaria: "It's so cold!"
We messed around and tanned for a while after that. We were laying on the towels when Colby turned to me.
Colby: "Let's go swim again before it gets dark"
Azaria: "Aright"
He gently grabbed my hand and we walked into the water. It was sunset and we looked at it for a second.
Colby: "It's beautiful"
Azaria: "Yeah..."
He was still holding my hand. He turned to me. Colby slowly leaned in and kissed me. His lips were soft and the kiss felt magical. I kissed back and he put his hands on my waist. He eventually pulled away.
Colby: "Fans found us"
He nodded over to where Sam and Kat were. They were looking at us.
Azaria: "Oh right... we should go"
I let go of him and walked away. He stayed where he was for a second. Of course the kiss meant nothing to him when it meant everything to me...
