Chapter 33: The End

{Two weeks later}
Colby and I have announced our breakup. We each posted a video. I was still broken and barely left my room. I haven't left the house at all. Everything reminded me of Colby. Nate left but Mason apparently lives in LA now. Olivia has been hanging out with him a lot. I think she likes him. I was laying in bed while thinking when Olivia barged into my room. "Yes?" I looked over at Olivia. "Get up! Get hot! We're going to a party!" Olivia and her parties I swear. "Whyyyyy" I groaned. "Because you haven't left the house since the breakup." I sighed and started to protest when Olivia straight up pulled me out of bed. "What if Colby's there? What if he's with a girl?" Olivia looked at me like I'm stupid. "Colby hasn't posted anything, left his house, or even looked at a girl since you left him." I shook my head and sighed in defeat. I took a shower and when I got out I dried my hair. I straightened my hair and put on light makeup. Olivia pulled an outfit out of her closet and handed it to me. It was a red crop top with a black mini skirt. I put on fishnets underneath and red heels. Olivia looked at me. "You should dye your hair." I rolled my eyes. Maybe I wouldn't mind dying my hair black. Olivia ordered a Uber and we headed to the party. Cars were lined up along the street and music was blasting. We walked inside and the smell of alcohol filled the room. I haven't been to a party in a long time. I noticed guys looking at us. I looked around the room and saw Sam. Next to him was the one and only Colby Brock. He was leaning against the wall looking down at his cup. I pulled Olivia to a stop. "He's here" she gave me a confused look and then realized. "You'll be fine. It's been a few weeks." I rolled my eyes and followed her over to the kitchen. We took a few shots before grabbing some drinks. I protested but we walked over to Sam and Colby. Kat saw me and squealed. She pulled me into a tight hug and then Devyn did. I haven't seen Kat since i found out Colby was cheating. I haven't seen Devyn since I got back from Texas. I said hi to Sam and gave him a hug. Colby was completely silent and just stared at me. I gave him a sad smile. He frowned and looked back down. I took a deep breath and joined the conversation my friends were having. I felt a hand on my lower back and flinched until I realized it was Mason. "Hi!" "Hey how have you been?" He said as he pulled me into a hug. "I've been good" he smiled at me. "It's good to see that Olivia got you out of the house. You look good too." "thanks Mason" I smiled at him and turned back to everyone as he said hi to Olivia. Mason took my drink from me and took a drink. "Hey!" He chuckled. I noticed Colby was looking at us with a sad look. He finished my drink. "I'll get you a new one Come on" he grabbed my hand and dragged me away. He punted two drinks as I leaned against the counter. He handed me mine and we went back to our friends. I ended up sneaking outside. I leaned against the wall and drank my drink. "Hey are you okay?" I looked up and saw Colby. "Hey. Uh yeah just needed some air." "Can we talk?" He looked at me hopeful. "Yeah." He leaned against the wall next to me. "Look I know what I did was messed up and I know I hurt you," He started, "I can't say why I didn't what I did and I know you probably won't forgive me." "You broke me Colby." He gave me a sad look. "I know and I'm sorry. You weren't giving me anything and I was stressed. I was happy with what we had don't get me wrong. But I went to that party with Brennen and got too drunk. I felt bad so I tried to distance myself. The girl kept texting me and I just gave in. I'm so sorry Azaria" by the end of his sentence he was crying. "I pulled him into me and hugged him. He cried into my shoulder. "I'm so sorry Azaria." "Shhhhh" I said as I rubbed his back. We stayed like that until he calmed down. Olivia came outside. "Hey I'm gonna call an Uber and go home are you coming with?" I looked to Colby who was still upset. "I'll get my own. I'll see you at home." she nodded and went back inside. Colby was staring at me. I looked up at him. He had his hands on my waist. We both slowly leaned in and my lips gently met his. It was like everything was okay at that moment. We ended up making out. We pulled away and I nodded. He held my hand gently and we walked outside. He ordered an Uber and we went to his place. As soon as we got inside Colby started kissing me again. I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist. He carried me to his room and gently laid me down on his bed. I think you know what happened after that. I was laying against Colby when I noticed what time it was. 2am. "I should go home." Colby gave me a sad look. I kissed his lips. "I love you Azaria" "I love you too." I laid back against him. He wasn't gonna let me leave and I was okay with that. Everything was okay in that moment. "I hate you" I giggled out to Colby.
