Chapter 32: Officially Over

They left me to get dressed. I put on black ripped jeans and a dark green stitched crop top. I put on my plain white vans and we got in Olivia's car. I was in the front seat while the guys were in the back. We arrived at the apartment and I went up with Mason and Sam. Olivia went to find a parking spot and Nate joined her. I carried the box up to his door and Sam knocked. I was nervous. I didn't want to see him. He opened the door and I noticed his once beautiful blue eyes were bloodshot. I tried to keep myself from crying. His eyes met mine and he dragged his hand through his mess hair. "Hey..." I took a deep breath before speaking, "Hi Colby. Um here's your things..." "Oh. Do you want to get yours?" He hurt me but seeing him sad made me want to pull him into a tight hug and let him cry to me. I nodded. We moved so we could go inside. Mason put his hand on my lower back and I flinched. He noticed and put his hand down. I went to Colby's room and Colby helped me find some things that were mine. Mason had them in a box and he carried it for me. Colby walked us to the door and we started to walk away but I turned towards him. "I love you Colby..." he looked down when I said that. "I love you too... I really do and... I'm sorry" I felt a tear fall. I turned around and walked away. We got in the car and went back home. I was quiet the whole time. When we got back to our apartment I went to my room and locked the door. I fell on my bed and sobbed. It was really over. Colby and I weren't together anymore.
