Chapter 25: Love Is Confusing

We made it back to the cabin and went inside. Everyone was in the living room or kitchen except Nate and Olivia . It looked like dinner was ready. Colby and I went to our own rooms and got changed. I put on a black long sleeve and grey Nike shorts. Nate and Colby came walking in. "Do you knock?" Olivia said in a joking ride way. "What's knocking?" Colby said causing me to giggle. He turned to me and smiled. I noticed Nate and Colby were both carrying two plates of pizza. "At Least be happy that we brought you food," Nate said and I smiled again. Nate handed Olivia a plate and Colby handed me a plate. He sat down on my bed next to me. Olivia was in a little chair that we had and Nate was sitting on the floor. We ate our food and talked. "Olivia you know what we should do after we play games?" We all looked at her questionably. "We should was a scary movie!" I got excited. I loved scary movies. "Yes!" The boys agreed as well. We finished eating and Olivia's mom called us out to start the board games. I sat next to Colby on the floor. We played 3 games and they were kinda boring. Colby won one game, Nate's mom won one, and my step dad did too. Everyone went to bed and Olivia, Nate, Colby and I got ready to watch the movies. We set up blankets on the couch and made popcorn. I grabbed the popcorn while they went to the living room. Colby pulled me onto the couch the next him. I cuddled up to him and he kissed my cheek. He was so confusing. He told me he wanted to be just friends but he was acting like we were more than that. I'll have to talk to him before we go to bed. I whispered into his ear, "Can we talk before we go to bed?" "Of course..." he didn't seem so sure but I just ignored it. I laid my head on his chest and ate some popcorn. We watched the movie and then cleaned everything up. Nate and Olivia went to bed and I pulled Colby outside of the cabin. Colby put his hands in his pockets and looked at me, "So what do you want to talk about?" I let out a sigh before answering, "You told me you wanted to be just friends but today your acting like we are more than that." He was quiet for a second before speaking, "To be honest I love you Azaria and I don't know why I said that. I guess I've never been in a real relationship, like this, so I'm scared..." I nodded and wrapped my arms behind his neck. He put his hands on my lower back. I stared into his beautiful blue eyes and whispered, "I love you Colby Brock. I always will." He kissed me. It was a really passionate kiss and I melted into it.
