Chapter 19: Back To You

I pulled into the airport and parked. I got out and walked to find Colby. I heard someone yell my name and I turned around. I saw Colby running down the escalator with his bags. I started running to him. We reached each other and he set his bags down. He pulled me tightly into his arms. I hugged him back tightly.
Colby: "I Missed you so much!"
Azaria: "I missed you too baby"
We pulled away slightly and he gently kissed me. Eventually we went back to the car and drove to my parents' home. Colby's hand didn't leave my thigh the whole ride. We parked in the driveway and Colby got his bags. I peeked over at Nate's house and could see him looking through the window.
Azaria: "I don't think my family is home"
Colby: "Perfect"
He smirked. I giggled and rolled my eyes. We went inside.
Azaria: "Mom! Dad!"
There was no answer. We went up to my room and Colby set his bags down.
Azaria: "So this is my room"
He smiled at me.
Colby: "It's nice"
He looked around.
Azaria: "Can we talk about something really quick?"
He looked worried.
Colby: "Yeah of course"
He sat down next to me.
Azaria: "So I don't know if Olivia told you or not but yesterday Nate and I kissed..."
He went silent.
Colby: "Oh"
I looked down at my hands.
Colby: "I need some air"
He got up and Walked away. Shortly after I heard the front door slam. I looked out my window and saw him sitting on the curb with his head in his hands. I sighed and fell onto my bed. I heard the door open again. Colby appeared in my door way.
Colby: "Hey are you okay?"
Azaria: "Yeah"
He walked over and laid down next to me.
Colby: "Hey look at me"
I looked him in his beautiful eyes.
Colby: "I'll always love you"
I smiled at him.
Azaria: "Not matter what"
He nodded. He pulled me into his chest.
Colby: "I understand you guys used to date so I'm not gonna hold the kiss against either of you."
Azaria: "Thank you Colby"
My phone buzzed. I saw a text from Olivia "I'm sorry". I texted back "I'm sorry too". Colby and I cuddled for a while. We heard a hello. Colby looked at me confused.
Azaria: "Olivia"
He nodded.
Azaria: "Up here!"
Shortly after Olivia and Nate walked into my room.
Olivia: "Hi Colby"
Colby: "Hi"
Azaria: "oh Colby this is Nate. Nate this is my boyfriend, Colby"
Colby: "Hi"
Nate: "Hey"
Nate sat at my desk chair and Olivia on my carpet. I sat in between Colby's legs on my bed.
Azaria: "We leave tomorrow don't we?"
Olivia: "Yep. Oh guess who I saw at the store yesterday!"
Azaria: "Who?"
Olivia: "Megan and guess what!"
Azaria: "Oh god what?"
Megan: "She has three kids!"
We all burst out laughing except Colby.
Azaria: "Oh Megan used to bully us and call me and Olivia sluts"
Colby: "Ah"
Nate: "We should go to a party tonight"
He started texting someone on his phone.
Nate: "You ever been to a Texas party Colby?"
Colby: "Uh no"
Azaria: "There fun if you know the right people."
Olivia: "And lucky for you we do"
He nodded.
Nate: "Alright so party at 10 to 4"
Colby: "10 to 4?"
Nate: "Oh, you have no idea how crazy the parties get here. LA boy"
He mumbled the last part.
Colby: "I'm from Kansas so I somewhat know"
Azaria: "Your from Kansas?"
Colby: "Yeah"
Azaria: "My dads wife is from Kansas. Then she moved to New York"
My "dad" That my mom was married to was actually my stepdad. My real dad married some lady from Kansas. She's closer to my age then his. I moved from New York with my mom here where she married my step dad. I never visit my dad because he's probably too busy with his new family. I sighed. I felt like I didn't know the important things about Colby. I leaned back into Colby's chest.
Nate: "So Kansas boy..."
He looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
Azaria: "Can I speak with you Nate?"
Nate: "Sure"
I got up and we went out of my room.
Azaria: "Colby might not know when your making fun of him but I can assure you I do. Please stop."
Nate: "I'm just trying to get to know the guy. By the way did you tell him?"
Azaria: "Yeah I did"
I turned around and went back into my room. I laid down next to Colby who was still sitting on my bed.
Olivia: "We should do something"
Nate walked back in and sat down.
Nate: "Lets go to lunch. Show Colby what it's like around here"
I rolled my eyes and sat up.
Azaria: "Lets go"
