Chapter 28: Santa Monica Date

We ended up kissing on the beach for a while till we saw flashlights. "Run!" Colby pulled me up and we ran laughing down the beach. "Come back here!" The guard looking guy chased after us but he was too slow. We hopped the fence again and got in Colby's car before speeding away. "So what do you want to do now?" He looked at me before turning back to the road. I just smiled. He was the best. I don't think I could ever love someone like I love him. Then I remembered the contract... "What if we go to the arcade? We aren't far from Santa Monica." "Yeah sure." I could tell he was confused. I guess I was being a little cold towards him. All of a sudden too. We arrived at Santa Monica and I followed Colby inside to the arcade. We played a couple games and took a couple pictures. We decided to go on the Ferris wheel. We waited in line while holding hands. We finally got on. "I think this was the place I realized I was really in love with you. The first time you kissed me was over there on the beach. You won me that stuffed bear. But you also broke my heart. He looked at me sad. "I know I did... when we first met, I was scared of the feelings I had for you. Now I just wanna show you off. I have thought about it recently and I know we have the contract and everything..." "Right the contract..." "we are supposed to break up soon but I was thinking what if we talk to our managers and get rid of the contract? Then you could be my real girlfriend..." I was in shock. He really wanted me even without the contract. "Yes of course! I really do want to be your girlfriend Cole, contract or no contract." He smiled a wide smile. We made it to the top and stopped. I looked out the cart and at the ocean. I turned back to Colby and kissed him. It was the most real and genuine kiss I've ever felt. We pulled away as the cart started moving again. "I love you" "I love you too baby" We got off the Ferris wheel and walked away hand in hand. We hear squeals and turned around. "OMG YOUR COLBY BROCK! AND YOUR AZARIA!" A group of fans came running up. "Are you guys on a date?" Colby nodded and I smiled at him. "Omg you guys are my favorite couple ever!" Another girl said. "Can we have a picture?" "Yes of course!" Colby seemed so happy meeting his fans. We took pictures with them and they took a picture of Colby and I kissing and of us hugging. We said goodbye to them and headed to Colby's car. It was almost 10pm now. Wow time really went by fast. "I don't wanna go homeeee" I whined. "Come stay with me baby" "I can't... I haven't been home in so long. And we have the meeting tomorrow. "oh I have to hang out with the guys anyway..." "are you guys going partying?" "Yeah..." "Oh..." we drove back to my place. We were quiet for the most part. He dropped me off and I kissed him on the cheek before heading up to my place. I was so tired and ended up just showering before passing out in my bed. I woke up with snapchats from Colby. It looked like he had a fun time. I texted him to see if I could come over but he never answered. I went on my phone for a while before taking a shower. We had our meeting today and we were gonna talk about ending the contract finally. I put on plain black jeans and a v-neck sweater with a bralette and my Gucci belt. I tried texting Colby again but he didn't answer. I got in my car and headed to the office. I didn't see Colby's car anywhere. I went up to the office and sat down. "Where's Colby?" My manager asked me. "I don't know..." I shrugged. We started talking and 30 minutes into the meeting Colby walking in. He was wearing a red and black striped shirt with black ripped jeans. He had glasses on as well. Must have a hangover. "Sorry I'm late." He sat down in the chair next to me but scooted away a little bit. We talked a little more and decided to end the meeting until a few days. We both walked out but we were quiet. Something seemed wrong with Colby. "Are you okay baby?" No response.
