Chapter 26: Tired

He kissed me again outside my room before whispering "goodnight." I smiled and whispered a goodnight back. I quietly went into my room and got into my bed not wanting to wake up Olivia or Rose. It was 2am now. After our kiss, Colby and I sat and looked at the stars for a while. I sighed knowing that I had to wake up in 3 hours. I tried to fall asleep and I probably would have if my thoughts weren't raging inside my head. Before long my alarm went off and I was still awake. The flight back to Texas was going to suck. I got out of bed while Mia and Olivia woke up. We were leaving the cabin in two hours. I went into the kitchen and made toast. I jumped when I felt hands on my hips. "Goodmorning" Colby whispered in my ear. I turned around and pecked his lips, "Morning." I smiled at him and picked up my toast. Colby took a bite out of it and I playfully slapped him. "Are you excited to go back to LA tomorrow?" He leaned up against the counter. I thought about it for a second. "Yeah I guess." He nodded agreeingly. I finished my toast and went to shower. After I put on Colby's old black XPLR shirt and black jeans. I pulled on my old skool vans and started to pack up. When I finished I carried my bags out to the car. Colby helped me put it in the car. "Thanks baby," I smiled at him. We had a quick breakfast before getting in the car and heading to the airport. I was cuddled up to Colby in the very back of the car. I was again in the middle of the back row of our giant rental van next to Colby and Olivia. Once we arrived at the airport we flew back to Texas. Colby got us an Uber and we went to meet my parents at the house. It was nice to be alone now. Colby rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb as he held it. We arrived back at my childhood home and got our bags out of the Uber before it drove away. Our parents were already here and Olivia, Nate's, and Mias Uber was pulling up. We all went inside and said bye to Olivia and Nate's families. Also Olivia, Nate, and Mia. Colby and I decided to go up to my room and relax. I was still super tired. Colby groaned and fell onto the bed, "I'm so tired! I barely slept last night." I nodded, "Yeah I didn't sleep at all..." I smiled at him as he sat up, "I wish I was sleeping next to you." He gave me a sincere smile and I wanted to just jumped into his arms. Instead I slowly walked over and stood in between his legs. He tilted his head up and I kissed him. He pulled me down next to him on the bed and I yelped. I giggled as he pulled me up against him. "I just wanna lay with you all day..." I smiled to myself. "I won't complain..." and just like that we laid like that for hours.
