Chapter 11: What If I Told You I Love You?

I woke up when Colby got out of bed. I heard puking coming from the other room. I walked in and saw Colby hunched over the toilet.
Azaria: "Having fun?"
He gave me a dirty look as he leaned against the wall. I giggled and went to get him water. I grabbed a water bottle and medicine. I handed him the medicine and water. I sat next to him as he took it.
Colby: "Thank you"
Azaria: "For What?"
Colby: "Being here"
Azaria: "Anytime you need me"
He smiled and leaned his head on my shoulder. I smiled. He was so cute.
Colby: "I'm gonna shower"
Azaria: "Alright"
I got up and left the room. I heard the shower start. I decided to would shower after him. I went on my phone and thought about what we could do today. Since Colby insists on doing something everyday unless one of us can't. He really is amazing. Any girl would be lucky to be with him. He is an amazing friend to me. I just wish there was more between us. I remembered about having to go home soon. I thought about Nate. He was my best friend since middle school. Our senior year of highschool we fell for each other. He was my first for everything. I loved him. I thought he loved me too... I haven't seen him for three years. He moved to New York when we were 19 and I moved to LA shortly after. Long story short, he broke up with me because he "couldn't handle long distance". Two years of dating and 8 years of friendship gone. I guess he's looking for me now. Colby came out and got dressed.
Azaria: "Hey Colbs?"
Colby: "Yeah?"
Azaria: "I'm going back home in a couple days..."
Colby: "Oh for how long?"
Azaria: "Probably a week or two. Every year my family and Olivia's family goes to a cabin in Tahoe and stay there for a weekend."
Colby: "Maybe I could go with? It sounds fun..."
He smiled.
Azaria: "Yeah I'm sure everyone will be fine with it"
He nodded and then smiled again.
Colby: "What should we do today?"
I giggled.
Azaria: "Can we go see the Hollywood sign?"
Colby: "Sure! Get ready!"
I smiled and went to shower. After I got ready.

I came out and Colby was on his phone.
Azaria: "Lets go!"
He laughed. We grabbed our stuff and went to his car. We drove a little ways and parked. We had to walk a ways but we finally made it to the Hollywood sign lookout spot. We took a couple pictures before walking back.
Azaria: "My feet are tired"
Colby: "I'll give you a piggyback ride the rest of the way"
Azaria: "Okay!"
He bent down and I got on his back. We made it to the car and he put me down. His phone rang and he answered it while I sat in the car. Colby got back inside.
Colby: "Okay So I have a lot to say!"
Azaria: "Okay"
Colby: "First we are going to get food. Then we are going somewhere at sunset and after we are going to Sam's place to hang out with everyone. Also I can't go with you on your trip cause I have to go to London in 5 days for Sam and Colby."
Azaria: "London!"
Colby: "Yeah!"
Azaria: "Can we get sandwiches?"
Colby: "Yeah!"
We laughed and went to a small sandwich shop we knew about. We ate and went back to his place. We sat around until 6.
Colby: "We should go"
Azaria: "Alright"
I grabbed my bag and put my shoes on. We went to his car. We drove for an hour before parking. Colby and I hiked up to the lookout spot. He laid out a blanket and pillows. You couldn't really see the city lights just the sunset. We laid down and watched the sunset. It was nice.
Azaria: "Colby?"
Colby: "Yes Azaria?"
Azaria: "What if I told you I loved you?"
