Chapter 18: The Memories

It is now Thursday. The day before he comes to Texas. I've had to survive a whole week here without him. We would FaceTime everyday. Every single day. Sometimes more than once. And of course we would text each other all day. I was really starting to miss him and it was driving me crazy. We went from spending everyday with each other to not see each other for a week. Even more than a week. Nate was less annoying but I could tell his old feelings for me were still there. Speaking of, Nate and Olivia walked through my door.
Olivia: "Helloooo!"
Azaria: "Hi"
Nate: "Wake up! Your mom made pancakes and bacon"
He crunches a piece of bacon. I sat up and smiled.
Azaria: "Carry me!"
Nate rolled his eyes and shoved the piece of bacon in his mouth. He leaned down and I got on his back. He carried me down the stairs running. Olivia was laughing behind us and filming. He st me down in the kitchen.
Azaria: "Goodmorning mom!"
I hugged her.
Mom: "Morning dear"
She gave each of us a plate of pancakes and bacon. Nate grabbed the syrup and Olivia Grabbed the orange juice. We grabbed cups and sat at the table. We all started stuffing our faces.
Olivia: "Just like old times"
I giggled.
Nate: "Yep"
We finished eating and went back to my room.
Nate: "We should go swimming"
Azaria: "Alright"
Nate and Olivia went home to get ready. We all had pools in our backyards. Nate had a bigger one and a diving board. We always would go there. I put my swimsuit on.

I grabbed my things and walked next door. I walked inside.
Azaria: "Hello!"
I saw Nate's mom pop her head around the corner.
Nate's mom: "Hi Azaria it's good to see you again!"
I hugged her.
Azaria: "It's good to see you too"
Nate's mom: "Nate is in the backyard"
I went to the backyard. Nate was turning the pool on and he looked up. I could tell he was looking at my body. I rolled my eyes and set my stuff on the table.
Azaria: "Where's Olivia?"
Nate: "She said she'll be here in a little bit"
Perfect. I rolled my eyes.
Azaria: "Alright"
Nate walked over to the pool and pulled his shirt off. When I say he has abs. He has ABS. Damn. Colby's hot and all but damn. He threw his shirt to a chair and waved me over. I walked over and he picked me up. He threw me onto his shoulder and jumped in. I screamed and he laughed. We hit the water and both went under. We came up and I jumped on him. He grabbed my waist. We were inches apart. His lips met mine. I remembered why I loved him. Everything came back. All the memories. All my firsts.
Olivia: "Uh hey guys?"
We pulled away quickly.
Azaria: "Olivia!"
I pushed myself away from Nate.
Olivia: "Are you gonna tell Colby?"
Azaria: "I don't know..."
Olivia: "If you don't I have to. You can't hide that from him"
Azaria: "Whatever. I'm just gonna go home"
I got out of the pool and put a towel around me.
Nate: "I'll walk you out"
Olivia: "You don't have to leave Azaria"
I ignored her and walked inside with Nate behind me. We walked outside and he closed the door.
Nate: "I'm sorry"
I nodded.
Azaria: "I'll see you Saturday"
Nate: "See you"
I walked back home. I just hung out in my room the rest of the day. I woke up to my phone ringing. It was Colby.
I answered the phone.
Azaria: "Hello?"
Colby: "Hey I just landed!"
Azaria: "Your here! Omg I'm on my way right now!"
Colby: "Okay I'll see you soon!"
I couldn't wait to see him. I was just worried if Olivia told him about yesterday.
