I wake up with no energy on this warm Monday morning. Holidays are now over and it's back to school. Yay.
"Ugh , is it morning already?" I ask myself with a hoarse voice and half closed eyes.
"Get up Gray , or you'll be late for school!" my mom says as she enters my room.
My room was always in a tidy state. I hated having my room in a mess. Mostly coz i was allergic to dust so I always had to keep my room clean.
"Ok , I'm up" I said lazily as I dragged myself out of bed. I check the time and it's already 6:20am. I need to be quick so I can make it to the bus stop before the bus comes at 6:45.

I finally manage to get out the house at 6:37am and I start hurrying to the bus stop. The walk is only 5 minutes but i still wanted to go to the shop to get me a bottle of water.
I make it to the shop with about 2 minutes to spare before my bus arrives. As I enter the shop I notice my friend Daniel is just about to leave the shop with a loaf of bread.
"Hey Daniel! Long time no see." I said cheerfully. Last time I saw Daniel was 3 months ago and I really missed him.
"Hi Gray! Haven't seen you in ages. How you been?" he said with his adorable smile. I always found his smile really cute.
"I've been alright , just upset the holidays are over. It went really quick." I said as I bought myself a bottle of ice cold water.
"True. 6 weeks is too little for a holiday." joked Daniel.
"Lmao you're right." I giggled.
"Hey I wanted to know if-..."
" Sorry Daniel , I have to go. The bus is here. See you around." I said as I ran out of the shop and got onto the bus.
I always sit in the exact same spot every morning and afternoon on that bus and people know it , so they don't bother taking that seat. I usually sit alone in the 2 seater aisle but occasionally someone that doesn't have a seat will sit next to me.
I put my water bottle in my bag and take out my phone and earphones. I put my earphones and start listening to fake love by BTS. I love kpop and the bus ride to and from school is my time to enjoy my kpop music without people questioning or judging me.
* 50 minutes later *
The bus pulls up at school and everyone hops off. I can hear people complaining that the holidays was too short and that they didn't want to be back at school. I just merely ignored them and started walking into the school building.
As soon as I enter the corridors I see my bestfriend. Her name is Levona. We've been friends since the 5th grade after she saved me from the people that used to bully me for being gay. And 5 years later , she's my bestfriend. She also loves kpop and is a huge GOT7 fan , and her bias is Jackson. Personally , I'm more of a BTS fan , and my bias is Jin.
"OH MY GASH , GRAY , HIIIII!!!" screamed Levona as she was really excited to see me.
Unfortunately we didn't get to meet up during the holidays because of family issues , and important events etc.
"Hiiii Levona!" I shouted back.
We both gave each other a big hug.
"Ugh , I can't believe we're back at school." complained Levona
"Yeah me neither. Can't believe we're Grade 10 now" I said.
"Yeah. I hope we're gonna be in the same class this year." said Levona.
"We'll just have to wait and see" I said.

[All the new grade 10s meet up in the quad as the teachers are about to call out the names of the students in each class]
* TIME SKIP *
So it turns out Levona and I are both in the same class this year. We were both really happy. Now we can see each other more often. But there's also a new boy in our class. His name is Jesse Meyer. He recently moved to South Africa from Italy. And he's actually kinda hot.

As we got into our new class , our teacher , Mr Hendricks , gave us our periods for the day.
"Period 1 , 2 and 3 you will get english, mathematics, and physics or business. Then you will have a 35 minute interval. Then periods 4 and 5 will be economics or bio and life orientation. Then another interval of 20 minutes. And period 6 and 7 will be your 7th subject split and afrikaans." said Mr Hendricks.
"Ugh , today is going to be so busy , am I right Gray?" said Levona. But I was too busy staring at Jesse to hear what she was saying.
"Ugh Gray? Hellooooo"
"Huh , what? Uhm yeah , sure" I said hesitantly.
"You didn't hear a thing I said , did you? questioned Levona.
"Uhhh..."
"Who are you staring at anyway?" Levona asked while smirking.
"Nobody."
"Gray , don't lie to me. I know you" said Levona. But it's true she does know me so I eventually gave in and told her.
"I was just looking at that new Jesse guy. He's kinda hot to be honest." I said nervously.
"Hmm , he is kinda hot." said Levona in a seductive voice.
"OK you can stop now!" I said while rolling my eyes.
"We should become friends with him!" shouted Levona so loud that the whole class went silent. I was so embarrassed I just put my head down.
"Oops , sorry."
Levona does get a little too excited at times but that what I love about her , she always brings excitement into things. But she's right , I should become his friend. Lmao maybe he might even be gay or bi or-... Wait , what am I thinking?! I thought to myself.
"eish..."
