The next morning I woke up in such a euphoric mood I jumped out of bed and started dancing while getting ready for school.
"Gray , wake up before you're lat-... oh , you're up already. Good." my mom said as she entered and then left my room.
"Wait , mom I need to ask you something!" I quickly shouted and ran out of my room.
"What is it son?" she asked.
"There's a concert happening in a couple of weeks at school and I'm going to be part of a group dance item so our teacher asked us to ask our parents if they can fetch us after school when we practice. The practice is only an hour so we'll be done by about 4:15."
"Oh that's wonderful. I'll fetch you after school , just let me know what days." she said with a smile.
"It's everyday until the concert. Which is in like 2 or 3 weeks." I said.
"Ok that's fine." she said. "When your dad comes back from France next week he can also fetch you after school."
"I can't wait from him to come back. I miss him."
"i miss him too." my mom said.

I finally made my way out the house and started walking to the bus stop. The roads were surprisingly empty today. I wonder why.
I made my way to the shop to buy me a bottle of water when I suddenly saw Daniel walking out.
"Daniel! Hey!" I shouted and started moving into a slow jog.
"Oh hey Gray. What's up?" he said.
"Didn't see you since like last week I think. Where have you been?" I asked.
"Oh , I've just... been busy." he said and looked away.
"With what?" I asked as I could see he was hiding something.
"Oh you know , just the usual stuff. Anyway gotta go. See ya." he said quickly and started walking away.
"I wonder what's up with him?" I mumble to myself as I start walking into the shop.
I take a bottle of ice cold water out of the fridge and reach into my pocket , but I feel no money.
"Oh no , did I leave my money at home?" I ask myself in a panicking voice.
"Ugh , flip. I left it at home." I say to myself.
Just great. And it's too late to turn back to get the money.I just decide to go without water and walk back to the bus stop with my head low.
Eventually the bus pulls up and i hop on.
As usual Tiana starts whispering something to her friends as I walk past her. But I don't care. I just ignore her.I make my way to my seat and realize I don't have my phone either. Ain't life just peachy. Now I don't have music either.
So for the whole almost hour long bus drive I had to just sit and look out of the window. Bored bored bored.
My happy mood started to fade away and I was back to my normal sombre-ish self.

When I got off the bus at school , Tiana was standing outside the bus waiting for Sasha's bus to arrive. When she noticed I was getting off she stuck her foot out to try and trip me. Luckily I saw it or else I would've had another embarrassing moment.
"Not today." I said and kicked her foot out of the way as I walked past.
"Stupid freak." she said but I ignored her and just carried on walking.
