chapter 5: enigma

Today is Thursday, which means I'll get my phone tomorrow. Jeez, it feels like I haven't had it for an eternity. Without it, I wouldn't know if people were still sending that embarrassing video of me singing terribly around. They most likely were but anyway.

Eventually I got out of bed and decided to get ready for school.

I left the house at 6:40am and made it to the bus stop at 6:45am. I decided that today I'd bring my own bottle of water for a change.

* 10 minutes later *

"Jeez where is this bus?" I asked myself.

* another 10 minutes later *

"Ugh, I'm gonna be late for school!" I said angrily.

Eventually the bus came. "Finally!" I said while rolling my eyes. I got onto the bus and made my way to my seat. Since I haven't had my phone for a few days, I kinda got used to sitting and looking out of the window for almost an hour. I missed my music though.

When the bus arrived at school, I got off and made my way into the building. Surprisingly I had no trouble with Tiana or Sasha.
I was then met with a very busy Levona.

"Morning Levona." I greeted.

"Morning Gray." she said without even looking up.

"What you busy with?" I asked as I sat down next to her.

"Bio homework." she said quickly while frantically trying to copy the homework from someone else's book.

"Ah, I see." I said.

"I wish your phone wasn't confiscated. You could've sent me answers." she said.

"Lol yeah." I said.

* bell rings *

"And... Done!" she said happily. "Now I need to give Charlotte her book back."

"Lets go find her." I said as she got up and we started walking.

As we turned around the corner, Charlotte bumped into us.

* thud *

"Sorry guys. Levona, you done?" she asked as she pushed up her spectacles.

"Yup. That's a million." said Levona.

We then walked to our homeclass.

As we approached our class we heard screaming and shouting. We quickened our pace to see what all the commotion was about. When we walked into the class we saw that 2 of the boys, Riley and Liam, were fighting.

"Woah what the hell is going on?!" asked Levona.

"Apparently Riley was flirting with Liam's girlfriend and kissed her this morning before school." said a girl named Fatima.

"I'm gonna fucking kill you, you piece of shit!" shouted Liam as he was throwing punches at Riley.

People had already taken their phones out and were recording the entire fight.
Not long after came our teacher into the class.

"What is going on here?!" he shouted as he stepped in and separated the 2 boys.

"Why are you boys fighting?" he shouted in an angry tone.

"It's all his fault!" said a battered Liam.

"Oh shut up." said a bloody Riley while rolling his eyes. Liam just narrowed his eyes and gave him an intimidating stare.
