I was walking in the park with Jesse. He suddenly stopped me and turned me around to face him. Our eyes locked and he opened his mouth to speak.

"Gray. I have something to tell you. I... have feelings for you. he said."

It took me a few seconds for me to comprehend what he just said. I then opened my mouth to speak.

"I-I like you too Jesse." I said while tears started to form in my eyes.

"If you really do, then allow me to do this." he said.

He the started closing the gap between our faces and then...

I was then suddenly woken up by the sound of my phones alarm. "It's morning already?" I asked myself. "Why did I have to wake up?!" Why did I have that dream? Did it mean anything? "No, I'm just thinking crazy," I said to myself.

I rolled out of bed and headed to the bathroom. As I'm about to enter, I'm greeted by a friendly voice next to me.

"Morning Gray." said my grandpa.

"Morning grandpa." i said while rubbing my eyes.

"Breakfast is almost done. And I'll be taking you to school until you go back home." he said.

"Ok, thanks grandpa." I said then entered the bathroom. I washed my face then walked out of the bathroom. I walked to the kitchen and saw there were pancakes on a plate for me. Mmm delicious!

"Morning Gray." said my granny as she poured more pancake batter into the pan.

"Morning granny." I said with a smile.

I poured some syrup onto my pancakes and cut a piece and popped it into my mouth. Gosh I loved pancakes.

I suddenly remembered that Ashton asked me out on a date, and it's tomorrow. It completely slipped my mind. I didn't want to seem rude and disappoint Ashton so I decided I'm going to go.

"Granny, my friend said he wants to hang out tomorrow, we wanna go watch a movie. Is it okay if I can go?" I lied. I couldn't tell her the truth or else I wouldn't be able to go, and I didn't wanna disappoint Ashton so...

"No problem. Just let me know what time I must drop and fetch you." she said with a smile.

Woah, she was actually cool with that? Anyway.

"Thank you granny." as said as I returned the smile.

When I finished eating my breakfast I took a quick shower.
After 10 minutes I was out of the shower and getting ready for school.

I walked out of my room and packed my lunch in for school.

"You ready to leave?" asked my grandpa.

"Yup." I said as I got my things together.

"Bye Gary, enjoy school." said my granny.

"It's school, it's not meant to be enjoyed." i said jokingly. She just laughed at my response. "Bye granny."

I walked over to the car and a few minutes later my grandpa got in and we were on our way to school.

***

"Enjoy your day Gray." said my grandpa.

"You too. Bye." I said as I got out of the car.

"Bye." he said.

I closed the door and started walking into the school building. As I entered the hallway I noticed Jesse walking in my direction. I tried my best not to smile and I succeeded, thankfully.

When he walked past me I suddenly felt his hand scrape against mine. I suddenly started smiling like an idiot. I looked back but he just continued walking. When I turned around I saw Tiana glaring at me.

"Good morning Tiana." I said sarcastically while rolling my eyes. As soon as I walked past her I was suddenly stopped by 3 unknown boys, the looked like matrics. They pinned my to the lockers and I felt a sharp pain on my spine.

Tiana then suddenly appeared from between the boys. "I warned you to leave him alone. Now you're gonna pay." she said evilly.

One of the boys raised his fist to hit me when suddenly someone stopped him.

It was Jesse.

"Leave him alone." he said as he shoved the boy. Jesse's friends also joined and stopped the other 2 boys from attacking Jesse and myself.

I suddenly heard Jesse's voice speaking to the boys. "Now get lost before you regret it and leave Gray alone." He actually just saved me, wow.

He then turned to me, staring into my eyes.
"You okay?" he asked. I could see he was being genuine.

"I'm fine." I said simply.

"Ok, good." he said. He was standing so close to me and I could feel my face heating up.

He then stepped away from me and offered to walk me to class, just incase they tried anything again.

"Sure." i said.

As we were about to leave, Tiana stopped me.

"You got lucky this time twat, but next time you won't be so lucky." said Tiana as she shoved past me.

I hate her so much. Why can't her and Sasha just go die in a hole and leave me alone. Am I really that much of a problem?

I just continued walking with Jesse until we got to our homeclass.

When I got there Shauna and Layyah suddenly grabbed me and dragged me away from Jesse and his friends.

"What the-" I exclaimed but was cut off.

"Oh my shiz Gray we saw what happened in the passage and let's just say, THERE WERE SPARKS!" said Layyah in a very excited voice.

"The way he was looking at you though, damn." said Shauna.

"It felt like he was staring into my soul. And earlier, our hands scraped against each other." I said while smiling like a pabo.

"What if he actually likes you or something?" asked Shauna.

"I doubt he does. He's straight. I'm probably just making a mountain out of a molehill or something." i said.

"BUT THE SPARKS!" shouted Layyah.

"There were definitely sparks between y'all." said Shauna.

"i doubt he's gay, or bi, or something. But I kinda wish he was, he looks like good boyfriend material." i said while laughing.

"He does. Maybe he can be mine." Shauna teased, knowing she'd get a reaction from me.

"Excuse you, stay in your lane bihh!" I suddenly blurted out. I quickly covered my mouth.

Shauna and Layyah just laughed at what I said.

"Oh whatever." i said while laughing.
