chapter 12: beach

So it's Saturday and for the past few days I barely saw or heard from Jesse. During practice on Wednesday he wasn't even in the music room. I'm gonna speak to him on Monday, if I see him, but for now I'm gonna enjoy my day out with my bitches.

"Come on let's go, my dad is waiting." shouted Tony. We all decided to meet at Tony's house and his dad agreed to take us to Strand. Their car is big enough for all of us to fit

"Coming." said the rest of us.

"Shotgun!" shouted Levona.

"Why would you wanna sit shotgun?" I asked.

"It means I can control what music we play." she said with a smug smile.

"Frick, I forgot about that." I said. At least I can trust her to play good songs.

I then got the brilliant idea to make Layyah and Tony sit together. I quickly ran over to Shauna. "Sit by the door." she looked confused but agreed nonetheless.

I waited until Layyah and Tony were both in the middle before Shauna and I got in. I looked at Tony and Layyah and saw them look at each other then look away quickly with cheeks a tint of red.

"Can I sit by the window please." asked Tony.

"No, I want the window seat." I replied.

"Shauna, let me sit by the window please." pleaded Layyah.

"Nope. I want the window. And in the name of Bangtan Sonyeondan you won't use Min Yoongi against me to me me move." she replied.

"You evil child." said Layyah back and glared at her.

Shauna just smiled at her.

The whole drive we were singing and rapping our lungs out to songs like Second Grade, Electric, Sea and Cherry. Tony's dad thought we were crazy because of the way we were changing our mood with every song lol.

We finally arrived at Strand Beach and we were happy to get out of the car. We all took our stuff out of the boot and started walking to the beach.

"I'm just going to the one shop quickly. Stay on the beach and if you move, message me." said Tony's dad to his son.

"Sure thing dad." he replied then started walking with us.

Surprisingly the beach wasn't that full and we got a nice spot under a tree.

"I feel like swimming, who's with me?" asked Shauna.

"Me!" shouted Tony and Levona.

"Layyah? Gray?" she asked.

"I'll be there soon, I just wanna eat something, I'm starving." I replied.

"Layyah?" she asked.

"I'm also kinda hungry, you guys go on so long." she replied as she took some food out of a bag.

"Okie dokes, see you guys in a bit." she replied.

Tony, Levona and Shauna then went to the bathrooms to change and left Layyah and I alone. Now's my chance to get information.

"So when were you gonna tell us?" I asked suddenly.

She seemed to be caught off guard and a bit confused.

"What do you mean?" she asked confusedly.

"That you like Tony." I said as I took a bite out of an apple.

She suddenly chocked at my statement and took a sip of water.

She then looked away and answered; "I don't like Tony."
